Starting Out Without Testimonials Building Your Professional Reputation

If you're a functional medicine practitioner or a health coach who's just starting out and doesn't have testimonials for the amazing work that you do, then one of the things that I would suggest is to get character references. Character references are not only a great placeholder until you get client testimonials, but they show the breadth and depth of who you actually are. Reach out to your mentors, reach out to some of your peers or your classmates that have trained with you, and get a character reference and put that on your website or use that in your webinar so that people get a sense of who you are. Once you start getting case studies and testimonials from your program, you can certainly add those in as well. I would include both because I feel both are a great indication of who you are as a person and who you are as a professional.
