Tips to nurture your audience

Sachin Patel explains why consistent lead nurturing is essential for converting prospects: it demonstrates expertise, builds familiarity and trust, and uses case studies and personal story to position you as the obvious choice. He offers email-focused tactics—clear, non-clickbait subject lines, conversational voice, selective emoji use—and recommends starting with more frequent contact then spacing out while maintaining a steady cadence over at least 90 days, noting a cited rule-of-thumb that ~90% of sales occur after 90 days. He closes with suggested next steps (schedule calls, webinars, trainings, subscribe).

In this video, I want to talk to you about the importance of nurturing your leads. Nurturing your leads is vital because it helps you demonstrate your mastery. It helps them get to know you a little bit better, helps them also get to know the work that you do, how you do it, how it's different than what they've done before, and demonstrate the people that you've helped who are hopefully just like them, seeking resolution for a chronic health challenge that you can help people with. So once you get people into your lead magnet, or once they get on your email list, or once they enter into your ecosystem, we've got to, you know, drip out valuable information to them that speaks to them, that helps them solve their problem. Now, what I found historically is that most people don't do this enough or they do this for a short period of time, and then they give up. So I learned an interesting fact from Nicholas Kuzmich. And, you know, the numbers are always changing. But I think the. The example is pretty clear that about. About 90% of sales take place after 90 days. So if you nurture someone and you stop nurturing them just after a few weeks or even after a couple of months or even after 85 days, then you're missing out on the opportunity to get these people to really invest in what you have to offer. So you've got to continue to nurture them, warm them up to your message, warm them up to your process and. And share case studies with them so that they know that you are the most obvious choice for them. We've talked about a bunch of different ways to separate yourself from all the other services that are out there. And, you know, one of the things that you want to do with your nurture sequence is allow your prospective clients to get to know you a little bit better, Share your story, share more about your family, share more about your journey, share more about why you do what you do, your stand, you know, the solution that you have for the problem that they have. You know, you know, these are the things that you want to get across to them. So if you're using email, a couple Suggestions for email 1, you want to make your subject lines very clear, so you want to make them hooky and punchy, but you also want to make them very clear so that when somebody opens up your email, they're not being clickbaited into opening up that email. It's very clear to them why they're opening up that email, and that way they don't feel duped. You know, if you're writing Clickbaity subject lines, then the problem with that is that when they might open a couple of those emails, but then it's how they feel that matters more than we might know. So it's not just them opening up the email, it's how they feel when they open up the email. Do they feel good? Do they feel like they opened up an email and they got exactly what they were looking for or exactly what they were promised? So try not to get too hypey, but make sure you're hooking people in with your subject lines. I also find that using an emoji can be very powerful because the majority of subject lines don't have emojis in them. And, and so your emojis can stand out a little bit when you send your emails, you know, try to use, you know, language that you would use if you were having a conversation. Pretend you're writing an email to a friend who could benefit from this information. That's how you want to treat your clients. You want to speak to them like your friends. You don't want to speak to them in sales copy because that's not how you're going to build a relationship and connection with them. You're not an Internet marketer. You're are, you're a practitioner, you're a friend, you're a colleague. You're somebody who's going to support them as their peer on this journey. You're their wise sage who's going to help them. So you've got to speak to them in a language that they can understand, in a language that makes them feel like they're a friend of yours. The frequency of nurturing people, you know, you want to start off a little bit more aggressively in the beginning. Uh, you might want to start off once a day in the beginning and then maybe every other day after, shortly after that, maybe after a week or so. But you want to stay consistent. So you don't want to just come off too aggressively, right in the beginning. Two or three emails a day, and then you die off. You, you want to spread those emails out over a period of time. Remember, 90% of the sales take place after 90 days. So you have to be consistent and you have to be, you know, somebody who is educating that person, changing their paradigm, getting them to see things a little bit differently so they never go back to looking at the world the same way. They get to look at health through the lens that you're providing that, that new set of eyes for them with. So continue to nurture people. Stay in front of people, stay top of mind awareness, share case studies, and guess what? You're going to start to see that people are going to start to take action on your message. When you nurture people, eventually you might want to invite them to schedule a call with you or attend a webinar with you or, you know, join you for a special training that you're doing or subscribe to your YouTube channel. There's ways that you can get people to take action and move them towards doing things that are going to be beneficial for them on their journey to learn more about you. So I hope that helps. I hope that gives you some guidelines to follow and allows you to continue to love on your clients once they join your email list or once they're in your ecosystem with a steady cadence that feels good to you and also makes them feel welcome and loved and cared for. Hope that helps. I'll talk to you soon.
