Hello, my friends, and welcome to another episode of Perfect Practice. Today we're going to be talking about probably one of the most important digital assets that you have, which is your website. Your website is oftentimes where people go when they search you online or when somebody tells somebody else about how great you are. And your website is digital real estate for your business. It's the storefront, the digital storefront for your business. And it's something that oftentimes we obviously as practitioners don't have any training in. However, intuitively, we recognize a great website when we see one. So today I have a very special guest, somebody who's been kind of working behind the scenes helping us on our website. Her name is Maria Rukina, and she works with the Healthy Digital. And we're going to be breaking down the aspects of a great website. We're going to be sharing with you common mistakes that practitioners make, mistakes that I've made and perhaps even people who've helped us have made. And of course, your website is a living organism, so it's never quite done. And this can be a pain point for a lot of people because they think, oh, I've got my website set up. But trends change, colors change, fonts change, you know, the type of imagery that you want to portray changes, but most importantly, you change and your message evolves over time. And of course, your website needs to evolve as you do so. So just like you might buy new clothing, just like you might buy a new car, or just like you might redecorate your home sometimes. And oftentimes it's important for us to reassess and reevaluate our website. Is it conveying the right message? Is it creating the right feeling? Is it easy to navigate? We're going to talk about these things so that perhaps you can check in on your website to see if it's doing the things that a good website should be doing. So. So use this interview and this presentation today as a way to audit what you currently have. And of course, if you're in the online space, your website is like your storefront. It's the most important asset in your business that you have, and you want to make sure it's doing the heavy lifting for you so that when you get on a call with somebody or when somebody's endorsing you, it creates the impression that you want to create. So, without further ado, welcome, Maria. Thank you for joining me today.
Oh, thank you, Sachin. It's truly pleasure to be here.
Thank you. It's. Well, my Honor. You know, I met you through a dear friend, mutual friend of ours, Gary Katie, who's also been, you know, a great influence in my life. And I know he's been very influential for you. And when we started working together, you instantly saw opportunities for us to deliver our message in a more impactful and effective way. And of course, like most owners, we're resistant to change because it takes work, it takes effort. And you've been very gracious and patient with me in making some of these changes and presenting them to me. So I'm super excited to share you with people of our community because last time I checked and when I, you know, audit people's practices or when I'm looking at the work that people are doing, you can almost instantly tell when somebody's website is outdated or when it needs to be updated. And of course this is where the average person is landing to learn more about this individual's practice. And it could mean the difference between that person digging deeper or it could mean that they look somewhere else. And so we want to make sure that our website, it's doing a lot of the heavy lifting for us because unlike a store, when you walk in you can make a great impression by greeting somebody and connecting with them. Our website is kind of a, and sometimes it's a one way conversation and you know, people can just very easily bounce off if they don't see what they're looking for or the website doesn't speak to them immediately and create the interest for them to dive a little bit deeper. Before we get into that, because I'm going to ask you a bunch of questions I'd love to know because I like to know everyone's background. What inspired you to get into this space? Why functional medicine? Why digital marketing? What inspired you to help people in this capacity?
Well, my journey into functional medicine was personal. Like four years ago I was told I needed the surgery and would have to take hormones for life. That didn't sit right with me and I started looking for another way and I found functional medicine. And two years ago and two years later my health improved and I didn't needed surgery anymore. And that's great experience for me was like, wow, you can do differently. And for me I am in health and marketing for years and I saw it as a gap like that I can help to put together. And that was a great idea for me to put together marketing in, in the health and functional medicine. And I got the idea to create an agency focused on helping functional medicine practitioners grow their online presence and that's the idea then. And it's been. All together, it's been over in the health. In, like, towards the health. Health industry. It was over four years altogether. In marketing is more than eight years. That's. That is my story. Yeah, I'm sorry. Yeah, I'm sorry. I'm a little nervous because I'm naturally introverted. So I may. I may not be the most expressive person today, but that's one of my strengths in marketing. I spend time thinking and researching. But podcasts aren't exactly in my comfort zone. So bear with me. Okay.
No, you're doing great. And, you know, I want to remind everyone that it takes courage, right, to do an interview like this. And, you know, I'm here to hold space for you and make sure you have an awesome experience, that you can express the magic that you do so that others can experience it as well. One thing that I'd love to maybe unpack a little bit is you do have an accent. So where are you originally from? I'm curious.
Yes, I do have an accent. I'm Russian. I moved to US 11 years ago and I have a background in finance and data analysis. And when I moved here, I did work as the operation manager and director of a jewelry. Then I had my food on the vegan desserts market. I was creating the vegan desserts as well. And then step by step, I just started realizing that people were asking me for help in doing a design for something. Then it was a website, the social media, and it's actually brought me to that broad area of the. I call it organic living. And now I more specified on a functional medicine. Yes.
Yeah. You know, one of the things that really struck a chord for me is that a lot of times when you hire a marketing agency or someone to help you with their website, they know marketing, but they don't know functional medicine. So they don't have a deep connection with the industry or a lot of times they don't understand what patients need to see. Right. So there oftentimes can be a disconnect. And what I love about your experience as a patient and having your own personal transformation is that you look at the website or whatever work you do with your clients through a slightly different lens. And not that I ever wish anyone to have to need a functional medicine practitioner, but it's wonderful that you had that experience and you experienced the benefit from it and, you know, you had to look for answers. And I'm sure you combed through a ton of people's websites before you found the person you were looking for. And the website probably did a lot of the heavy lifting, so that's rare to find. And I just want to mention that because sometimes we hire someone and then they learn about functional medicine for the first time, and then they become believers. But you became a believer through your own experience, and so you're able to convey that messaging more articulately and more authentically than somebody who hasn't been through that journey. So just wanted to highlight that because I think that's really important for people, our listeners, to know as well.
Yes, it is really important because I. I've been in both sides, like as a patient and as a doctors and as a patient, what I've learned that it is so difficult to find their. It is so many functional and good doctors around. But the thing is, it's so difficult to find them online. And most of the times, like those doctors, they kind of speaking on codes and with using the complicated medical code. And it is very difficult, difficult as a patient to understand that. And actually, what I do, I transform that doctor's medical code, as I say, into the simple language that makes patients feel truly understood and motivates them to take suction.
Yeah, it's almost like you're a whisperer for the patient. Right. To decode the genius of the person that you're working with and make it easy for the reader or the prospective client to understand so that it speaks to them. Right. Because it's one thing if you're speaking to your colleagues or your peers and you can use what we call the $10 words, but if you're speaking to the general population, it's really got to land for them. So we have to use words that they can understand, words that resonate with them. And good marketing and good messaging is where we enter the prospect's mind using the words that they're already using so that they feel that familiarity with the languaging and that conveys to them, oh, this person gets me, because they're using the same words that I'm using in my head. And, you know, it's. It's not uncommon these days for people to want to stand out and for them to create a unique message. Sometimes, you know, they get cute with their message and they understand what they're trying to say and they know what the meanings are and how they want that message to be received. But it falls short if the client doesn't receive it. So our messaging is only as good as the resonance that it has with the audience. And sometimes we have to realize that that usually means we got to keep it simple.
Yeah, that's the main thing to keep it simple. And I understand doctors when they talk to each other for them it's so, so like they've been learning the medicine for so many years and they so used to that difficult language, the medical language that they most of the times they don't even recognize that like normal, normal people, regular people. Right. Patients, they don't understand us. And that's a really great that we like that we can do. We can help doctors and patients to find each other and find that main ground for to, to to them for connecting.
Thank you. You know there's with so many different agencies out there and many times people might even agencies and I don't want to project this on everyone so I don't want to paint every agency with, with the same brush. But it can be a very predatory industry and you know you can get solicited and people will say oh like I'm going to do this for your website, this for your website. And then you end up working with somebody and they don't deliver on their promises. And I know one of your highest values is being an ethical agency and coming in and doing what you say you're going to do and then, and then doing it. So I'm curious from your perspective what makes your process or approach different than the traditional marketing agency?
Well, I'll say that traditional marketing agencies are focused on numbers, more clicks, more leads. But in functional medicine it is not about, is about quality. It is about the finding right patient. The ones who are truly really ready to transform. And also this is not only about the marketing in functional medicine. It is about building trust, connection and a system that attracts those patient constantly. You want the expert who knows how to find ideal patient and understand the science behind it.
Yeah. You actually have a three step process that you went through with us. Do you want to highlight that process for everyone?
Yeah. What we did with Sachin's website, it's. It was the first we had a conversation and we use that reverse engineer the ideal result. We what we did, we defined the best fit for the best fit patient and map out their journey from discovery to commitment ensuring that marketing leads them there. We also co create the plan together. On what like it's some kind of overcoming limiting beliefs and we co create the plan together. We commit, we create the plan together and structured step by step plan on creating the website that will be, that will be great for potential patients to be on and get to and we can get as a practice can get to the result that will attract new patients. Yeah. And then the third step is it's. We are measure, monitor and market and make that process right. It's, it's, it's like tracking the lab results. We analyze patient engagement, measure outcomes and refine the approach ensuring doctors consistently attract the, and retain the rate right patients.
What are, what are common mistakes that you find? So maybe you've, I'm sure you've analyzed many, many websites and there's probably patterns that you see. What are some of those patterns that you see in the functional medicine space?
Well, the first thing it's. It is usually using the difficult medical code or jargon that people do not understand. This is the main mistake they usually I see in the websites. Second one it is, they just offer like so it's, they use their website as the brochure, not as the lead generation page. They put the, they put the information but it is no, not enough, not enough call to action buttons, not enough details where people, like when the people get to a website, they usually get lost on all those, on all those information they see. And they don't have that, you know, step by step really easy guide for them. Like they don't see that guidance for the, they don't see that guidance where they can get from point A when they just arrived to your website to point B when they just ready to purchase. That's usually all those like two dose of mistakes I see most of the times.
Yeah. You know your website is more than how it looks. Right. It's really the user experience and the journey and the ease of use, you know, so people can find exactly what they're looking for or they know what their next step is. And so aesthetics are obviously important, but not as important as functionality. And so it's, it's functionality over form in, in this case. Right. And, and the two go hand in hand. So you obviously want to aesthetically pleasing website, but if you had to choose between the two, the website that's easy to use and versus the one that's pretty is going to outperform the other one. Now go ahead.
I believe you can mix all of them. You can mix both of them. You can make it pretty and you can make it work for the, for you and for the patient as well.
Yeah. Ideally you want both. Right. Of course you mentioned something earlier about helping practitioners and really all your clients identify their ideal client. And that's where a lot of people struggle because they want to, we want to help everybody and of course we can help a lot of different people. What are the frameworks or strategies or techniques that you use to help people identify their ideal client?
The main thing I would like to say here, not every client is our client. We have to have that person who is really, I will say, belongs to us, but who, in other words, who understands what we're doing and who trusts us. We need to gain their trust. Right. And in my, in my work we diagnosed and target ideal patients using the Ready framework. It's a structured science based approach that ensure they attract people who aren't just interested but committed to the healing. I call it the Ready Framework that clearly defines that ideal patients is r is ready for change. They've tried conventional medicine and are now actively searching for real solutions. E they economically prepared. They see the value in investing in their health and can commit function financially to that. A they always learning, they open minded, engaged and willing to follow protocols. D they determine to follow through. They understand healing isn't just a quick fix, it is committed. They are committed to doing their part. And why? It's a YOLO mindset. They know they only live once and feel urgency to take action. Now, using data psychology and real patient behavior analysis, I help Dr. Pinpoint this ideal patients for them so they stop wasting their time on those who aren't really here for change.
Yeah, that's so important. It could be such a point of frustration, especially because many of us offer complimentary consultations and we make it easy for people to connect with us and that can backfire, especially if somebody schedules the appointment, takes up that time in your calendar and they don't even show up. Right. It's almost like they're passive aggressive in some ways. Right? They're aggressive with scheduling, but passive with taking action. And it's frustrating for practitioners too because, you know, A it's our time, but B we know we can help that person, you know, and, and we just want to be able to be in service of them and just start off by a simple conversation. And so we put ourselves out there, right? We, we walk around with our hearts in our hands, so to speak, ready to help anyone who's, you know, willing and capable of being helped. But you know, we can't do that at scale. Right. Especially if people are not respecting our time, not respecting our knowledge or perhaps the timing isn't quite right for them. So I love this framework because we definitely need more of that. And you know, this question is a question for everyone and perhaps for you as well, Maria, but what does it take for people to want to be helped? Because I feel like I see so many people that are just struggling, they're overweight. You could tell from the look on their face that they're in pain or they're unhealthy or, you know, physically, you can see that they're, you know, limping or they're carrying around, you know, 50, 60, 70 extra pounds. And you just see the potential in that person, but they don't see it in themselves. So I'm curious, from all the research that you've done, like, what does it take for people to take action? Like, do they have to hit rock bottom? Do they have to have, you know, something happen in their lives for them to be ready? I'm just grasping at straws here, but I'm curious from your perspective what that is.
Well, on my personal experience, I'll say people ready when they're ready. For me, it was that, like, when Dr. Told me, you need a surgery and you will need to take appeals till the rest of my. Of your life. And for me, that was like, no, no, no, no, no. This is not how I gonna end up in my life. For me, it was the bottom. For many people, it is. It is difficult because, for example, when I share my personal story with my friends, with, like, with people on social media, I hear so much, oh, my God, you did it. It's so great. How did you do that? And when I start talking about, oh, I did, it took me two years, I did this. I tried this. And, like, and I started explaining, like, all my way to my health. And most people, they just, like, they are not ready for that. They want a quick fix. And you cannot change them. You cannot make them to. To want it. Like, they. I believe in their life, it's always going to be some point of their life. They say, I cannot do that anymore. I need something new. And when they're ready, they ready. I believe you cannot make them want it. They have to do it themselves.
Yeah. Jim Rohn says that we have to hit that rock bottom or a point where we're disgusted with our situation. And sometimes that might mean looking in the mirror, sometimes it might mean getting a diagnosis or a prognosis negative to kind of take from Seinfeld. And it's unfortunate, right, that people live on the edge, so to speak. And, yes, you live once in this body. Right. Spiritually, I believe we may reincarnate if we're not so lucky. And if we live a very karmically clean life, then we may Never come back to this plane of existence. That's a different conversation. But, you know, yes, we live once, but why not live it to the fullest? And you know, again, I know we're going off topic here, but you've had experience as a patient, so, you know, I'm just kind of posing that question because, you know, sometimes you just want to, like, reach out through the screen and say, come, we can help you. We can be in service of you. And maybe that's what the job of the website is, is to inspire people to take action and let them know, hey, we're here to help and you're home now. Like, this is the place you need to be.
Exactly. And when they're ready, you are ready for them. You just give them step by step help. That's it. It's the main thing. Like they, they gonna be ready when they. They are ready to do so. And you have to be there for them, to accompany them in their healing process. That's what I believe. Yes.
Yeah. So you, you know, you've also got another framework that we've talked about, and that's the patient acquisition framework. And I know this is going to be really interesting to our reader, so I suggest if you're not driving or, you know, if you're somewhere safe where you could write this down, I would definitely encourage you to write it down because you want to perhaps audit your practice or your practice website at least, and your, you know, your procedures to see, are you following the framework that's going to help you attract your ideal client? So we've identified who our ideal client is. Right. Somebody who's ready to go through the ready framework. But then once we acquire that client, what's the framework to, you know, walk them through the process where they go from learning about you to taking action.
Yeah, this framework, actually, I learned it from our friend Gary, who is my mentor. And at first when he explained me that, I was like, how is it gonna work for me as the website creator? Right. Or a strategist? And then we went like, we went step by step, and I realized that this framework can be used in any business, in any framework. Like, you can use it as a doctor, you can use it as a, you know, jewelry, as a jewelry store or anything else. Or like, you can use that framework everywhere. And this framework has five steps, and it goes from the big to smaller. The first one is reverse engineer the ideal result. Here we define the best fit patient and map out their journey from discovery to commitment, ensuring that the marketing leads them There. Second we blank slate or overcoming limiting beliefs. Many patients, as we say they hesitate and thinking oh nothing has worked for me, it's not going to help and everything like that. We use education, real success stories, a trust building content to address these doubts before they book.
3.
It's we co create the plan. Usually people commit more when they feel involved. Instead of just promoting services, we create structured yet flexible engagement so patient can feel like they're making an empowering decision. Then we get agreement, who, what and by when. We ensure clarity on responsibilities, next steps and timelines through the onboarding follow ups and smooth booking experience. And five we measure, monitor and make it right. Just like tracking lab results, we analyze it. We analyze patient engagement, we analyze what works, what doesn't. And that framework ensures that doctors consistently attract and retain the right patient. But even the best marketing strategy won't work if the foundation isn't strong. Your website and social media needed to be set to convert visitors into patients. That's why I offer a free website analysis to help practitioners identify their identify their weaknesses and identify what's the missing, what needs the improvement to attract and retain right patients.
Now there's a lot of people that don't have a website. So if they're brand new and of course we all understand the importance of having a website, what would it be for a person like that? Like how would you engage with that individual? Because I know that there's people watching this that are in the process of perhaps building their website or looking for someone to help them but they don't have one yet. How do you engage with that individual?
Well that's a real interesting question because I believe before we dive into the building or optimizing your website or your social media or we first need to make your hub brand foundation a well defined brand shapes everything. Your messaging, your patient journey and your marketing strategies. Without a clear brand, the doctor is a brand. Your website and marketing efforts can be just ineffective and disconnecting. It can look generic and will not hit that patient that you are looking for your ideal patients. That's why branding should always come first before building a website or doing any marketing.
And do you help with that? Is that something that you help people with or do you refer them somewhere else for the branding?
Absolutely. I usually how I start working with the people. We are working on their branding foundation and I have that services that I offer for the branding. Yes. And after that we based on the foundation because it's it is your strategy for like 5, 10 years we start working on the pieces that missing in your business.
Branding could be a lot of things. Branding is logo, it's pathos, it's ethos, it's, you know, color palettes. It's all those things and many people. And it's messaging. Right. Your brand, as my friend Patrick Gentempo says, your brand is what you stand for as well. So it's more than just the icon and the logo and the aesthetic. There's a lot of depth to what a brand is and what a brand isn't. So I think it's important for people to spend that time and invest that energy in laying down that foundation of what their brand stands for, because it's so much more than the average person might think. So I'm grateful that you offer that opportunity for them to really assess, like, you know, what they want their brand to communicate to people. And of course, it makes sense that they have that in place, because you're going to use their color palette, you're going to use their fonts, you're going to use the imagery that portrays the values. Right. And of course, you want to have the mission statement and those type of things in place in order for people to. In order for you to be able to build a website that conveys that messaging. So it's. I think the two are. Are go very hand in hand. And sometimes people might need a rebrand. Right. That's not unusual for organizations, even large organizations, to go through rebrandings when perhaps there's a new set of values that are initiated or perhaps there's a new audience that the person wants to target or go after. Sometimes that might require a rebranding and, or even a tweaking or an updating of the existing brand.
Yeah. As you know, Sachin, updating and tweaking never ends. Right. We just had that conversation with you a couple weeks ago.
Yeah, it's. It's ongoing, right?
Yes, but because it's a live. Like, it is a live organism. The website, the social media, it's a part of your business and it's life. It's always changing. And it's absolutely okay to change it. Absolutely okay to rebrand it. And sometimes you create something and five years later you understand it does not. It does not serve your purposes anymore, and you just start over again and build it again or tweak or update. And this is. I think this is great because it's a growth.
Yeah, it's kind of like updating your wardrobe. You know, sometimes styles change. Right. Your personal preferences might change. You know, I've gone through in the last, like maybe six years, three wardrobe changes. So I just to. Just to kind of drive this point home, you know, I went from wearing like, suit jackets and shirts to work every day, and then I switched everything to Lululemon and that was my. My comfort zone, right. So to speak. Very low maintenance type of clothing. And then I realized how terrible, you know, polyester and plastic clothing is for your health. So I completely flipped the switch and went to all natural fibers and bought like, sweaters and undergarments and everything and rebranded my clothing, so to speak. And then just recently, I came back from an ayahuasca journey and went through a rebranding process as well. So now you'll notice that I'm a little bit more dressed up than I usually am. Ready for anything is what I say, and dress to impress. So still sticking to natural fibers, but wearing bright, beautiful, like, you know, aesthetically pleasing clothing instead of, you know, kind of plain Jane type of clothing. So, you know, we go through that in our own lives, right? Sometimes we might, as I mentioned earlier, redecorate our office or we might, you know, redo the landscaping, which is a rebranding in many ways. Right. And. And is it uncomfortable? Certainly. But we get tired of looking at the same thing over and over again. And sometimes it's time for a refresh. So I'm curious, just from your perspective, how do we know when we're ready for a refresh? So somebody who's maybe watching this, like, what are some of the external or internal cues that we that might say, might. Might make us say, hey, I'm ready for a refresh. Like, I, I know my website needs to be redone. Like, what. What would that internal dialogue be like for the person watching this?
It is usually when you, like when you start having that idea that it is somewhere, you. You are somewhere close to start changing it. Like, you open your website and it was like, ah, that should be different. I don't like these colors. Or why is it like this way? It is always, you see that is it does not fit your, like, feelings that you have inside you. And it's usually every change goes from the inside. This is why, like, you, you will feel it. And sometimes you do not. You don't want to accept it. But with time, as you said, oh, you find out, like, the Lulu clothes is terrible and you decided to change. And yes, sometimes it is uncomfortable, sometimes without just not ready for that. But sometimes it's like, okay, it is time and I'm ready and I The main thing is like to trust the process.
Yeah. So I mean, it's interesting because when you ask, that's when you're, you're kind of ready. Right. Like just the fact that you're asking means okay, it's probably time. And you wouldn't say it unless intuitively you knew something needed to change. Now I know you've, you've been helping us over the last little bit, so I love perhaps for us to be a case study and maybe if you're open to sharing some of the tweaks that you recommended for our website and that could be a great example for our listeners to kind of see before and after or maybe your analysis of our existing website and the ways you modified it to make it more user friendly using the frameworks that you shared with us today. So if you're open to it, if you want to share your screen, I'd love to be your guinea pig, so to speak, and kind of lay the cards out on the table so people can see what you discovered when you analyzed our website.
Absolutely. Let's break it down section by section and see what works, what needs to be optimized. Yeah, let's do that. I will share my screen. Let's try. Let's do it step by step with website of the Living Proof Institute. The first screen visitors see, it's it calls the hero section. Here's the, here's the how things look now. It's a professional calming design with a strong branding headline right here. I will say it lacks urgency and it doesn't immediately hook visitors. Also, we do not have the strong representation of the patient, their feelings, their emotions connected to the headline. What needs a refresh? I will say we will do the stronger headline, enhanced visuals and strong call to action. Okay instead of okay instead of master your metabolism, discover your holistic root cause approach to health, weight loss, balance hormones and vibrant energy. We will use that new headline that's already has that call to action. We use the transform your body in just 10 weeks with the metabolic research program. Balance hormones, boost energy and lose weight naturally. Also instead of just future in the founder, we will use an image that represent real people doing activities they enjoy. And we will add a strong call to action. Let's see how it's going to look side by side before and after. Okay, let's go to next section. This is the intro section. What's the practice offer our standing point here. The section explains who will work with you, but it is no info about the program. This is the too broad Isn't it doesn't immediately connect the visitors pain points. What we will change. I say okay, let's go down. You need to make the content patient centered instead of generic explanation of functional medicine. Shift the focus to why the metabolic program reset works. We clearly address the main points by using a short engaging engagement paragraph answering the main concern. The main concerns that will build trust and increase conversations. And also it's a great thing to add before and after picture for the better understanding. And don't forget about the call to action as usual. Okay, let's do next one. This section of the social proof in the website of Living Proof Institute is great in my opinion. They have the videos and they have the summary of every happy patient and I think this is great. This way potential customers can come here. They can see the real reviews and also they see the summaries. The one thing I will say if you add the additional call to action button where they the patients can can get to that more information with informations with video like more reviews with videos and pictures. But the social proof is I think in my opinion it is great here. Okay, let's do next. Logically the next section should be structured breakdown or on the program details and benefits. But we don't have that on landing page here. And to get to that program details we need to get to the page our programs. And then it takes so many clicks to get to the information. You know, it's. It is you usually very not convenient for the people. And I will not recommend doing that. It is great if we just using them when we just using showing that information and landing page down below. Okay, how we will change like how I offered to change this one in on a. I'm sorry. On the landing page we use the clear benefits breakdown. Use the icons and bullet points to highlight why it works, what's included and expected results. Like here the people see that really small ideas like what they gonna receive, how they gonna get there. And they always can get for more information to another pages. Also use the simple enrollment steps here like 1, 2 and 3. What people need to do and that joining the program easy and intuitive. Also also always free. Use the free guide download that captures emails from the potential clients and nurture them to towards the conversations and getting after. Also you always need to add the founders or team video that build trust with a personal introduction and always support with the numbers like show program progress, program success rates and impact when it was established. This is really simple and easy way to show why your program is so great and it's it is easy for people to see it and read it and never forget about the call to action. Here we use the schedule for discovery call that promote people to schedule the call for you. Okay, let's get back to the site to the side that Living Proof Institute has right now. Here we have that section of the blog and content. Blog content exists, but it isn't fully optimized for lead generation. What I will offer that to create blog topics that connect to the program. Like for example, what we can do we can use like different topics that really connected to the programs and services we offer. That usually helps people when they read more. And we also when they get to that blog post, they read more. And also we include inside it our call to action that promote them to go to the services that we offer her and ensure that each blog post target the keywords that people usually look while searching you on Internet. That calls the SEO. Let's see. But overall I'll say that the Living Proof Institute has a strong foundation. But with that. But with these changes they can create more engaging patient centered and conversion more conversions in their website. The goal isn't just to have a visibility appealing website, but is to have a strategic online presence that affects the right patients and make it easy for them to take an action. With this key optimization, the website can become the powerful tool for patient acquisition and practice growth. This is, I will say this is all for that.
You know, I love this. Thank you for sharing. And one thing you mentioned to me that I want to highlight is sometimes fonts can be a little bit difficult to read. So you know, we might use stylistic and cursive fonts to highlight and you can see that we use that in the word metabolism, but some people may not be able to read that. And you know, anything that we do that creates work for the client or the patient, you know, creates friction. And anything that creates friction means that they're just more likely to jump off. And we just have to remember as practitioners that our clients are already tired, their brains are, you know, already fried, right. And they don't have any ATP to waste or on inefficiencies and interpretations or misinterpretations of what you're trying to communicate to them. So while I like this cursive font because stylistically it's appealing only because I know what it says, right. And if I was to come here for the, you know, first time as somebody who is my ideal client, who's foggy, who's tired, who maybe looking at it on their phone and kind of squinting to try to make sense of what it says by adding, you know, nice, easy to read fonts, it just makes it so much easier to convey the message. So, yeah, I mean, fonts that create friction are going to create problems for you. So, you know, don't be married to what you have. Right. Be willing to let go in the service of the client. Right. And the service of your business too. Because it's not about us and what we think. It's really about what the end user thinks about, you know, the, and the end user experience that they have that really determines the success of our website.
Yes, that's absolutely truth. Yes. When like the visual, we can, as the business owners, we can like something that is beautiful. And as you said, because we know what is there. But for many people it can be difficult to understand, difficult to read. And most likely we will lose that patient because of that little thing that is. Was difficult for them. That's. That is truth.
Yeah. Thank you. So let's talk next steps and kind of brass tacks. So I hope people that are watching this are at this point now and they're probably salivating and saying like, how do I, how do I get my website audited? How do I know that what I'm doing is landing? And maybe they want a fresh set of eyes from a former patient of functional medicine and a huge advocate of functional medicine. I'd love for two things to happen. One is where can we learn more about your work? So I want you to share that and then perhaps you can outline the steps for somebody to be able to schedule that complimentary consultation that you're offering of a free website analysis.
Yeah, sure. If you are a practitioner who are looking to attract new patients and thinking that they are ready to improve their practice, we can do website checkup. As I said, I only take three new clients per month. But our audit or checkup of website will be a great first step to, for us to connect and see how it works, how we will work together. Right. I will leave my link for that free website checkup under that video. And also you can follow me on Instagram where I will share more marketing strategies and different information about how we can make the marketing for functional medicine better.
Yeah, I love that. You know, Maria, you've been such a joy to work with. You're so passionate about what you do. I'm so grateful that you went through the experience that you went through yourself so that you're able to come on the other side and help us Practitioners in realizing the importance of our message and being an advocate for us to get our message out there into the world. Once again, thank you so, so much. I know you mentioned earlier that this isn't your normal scene being on a podcast, but I think you did a fantastic job and I think our listeners and our watchers would agree. So thank you for stepping out of your comfort zone and in the service of us practitioners who can step into the work that we're doing and reach more people with our message, with our services, and with our ability to communicate and articulate what we do through our website. Thank you so, so much. And for all of you that are watching, take her up on the offer. You know, it was very enlightening for us to go through this process. As you saw. You know, our website, I think it looks great, but does it function and communicate the message the way we want it to? Probably not. And you can see the before and after is. Is quite dramatic in, in the look and the feel and the messaging. And again, it conveys the message to take action more articulately. So thank you again. And is there any final words that you'd like to share with our audience before we jump off?
Thank you, Sachin, for such nice words. I say I enjoy our conversations. It was out of my comfort zone 100%, but I really enjoyed. Thank you very much. I'm happy that you trusted me with your website. I really happy that I have the opportunity to help other doctors to get online, to be seen, to help. And I want that functional medicine practitioners to show what it can do to people, how it can help. That's for me, it's my personal mission and I just, I'm just happy to be here. Thank you so much. And also what I want to say that focus on building trust and connection, not just tactics. Your ideal patient are looking for you. Make it easy for them to find you. That's. That's the message.
Well, beautiful message. Thank you again. And like Maria said, we'll post all the links below this video wherever you're watching this. If you received an email with this podcast, it'll also be in the email that you received. Again, take her up on the offer. It's a very generous offer. It's very kind of you to do that. And I'm so looking forward to the digital transformations that take place as a result of this. So here's to health, happiness and wholeness to all. And here's to getting your message out there to more people. And again, here's to building your perfect practice. We'll talk to you soon. Thank you again, Maria. Bye for now.
Thank you. Bye.
