Short YouTube clip (June 12, 2024) featuring Vivian Weyll, CEO of a $100M company, discussing leadership advice: shifting team conversations from goals to impact builds stronger culture, motivation, and makes goals more achievable. Encourages leaders to surface team members' 'why' to create sustained collaboration.
So I just talked to a leader who said his team is much more successful working together. Since they switched from talking about goals to talking about impact.
It is actually very interesting. I'm Vivian viall. I'm the CEO of a $100 million company, and I agree 100%. I work in a line in an industry that people make a lot of money. The way I work with my leaders, with my producers, with my staff, staff is I always try to get them to understand what's their why. And what I found is that we created a really, really strong culture, a culture that sticks together and people that are motivated to work together, to win together every single day. In the long term, talking about goals is important, but the more impact everyone has together, the more achievable all of your goals become follow for more business, education.
