Yasir Nawaz argues that books serve as the best form of mentorship because they contain distilled wisdom from leading minds; reading a book gives you a near one-on-one mentorship experience. He also affirms the value of human mentors while emphasizing daily learning—"feeding your mind"—as essential for business success and achieving goals.
I've had mentors. I've had people that I've met that I learned a lot from. I've had people that gave me advice. But I think that best mentorship that you can possibly have, you're talking about some of the biggest minds in the world. They put everything that you need to know in books. And all you need to do is pick up the book and read, and you get a one on one mentorship on that one activity that could take you a few days. So I think that people underestimate the power of books and the power of reading. And yes, I 100% agree. Having a mentor, having somebody to look up to, having somebody that you see walking the walk and not just stopping the talk, is life changing if you are in business, but making sure that you're feeding your mind every single day with what you want to accomplish is key as well.
