Fathom Walk through

Fathom.video integrates with Zoom to automatically transcribe meetings and generate summaries. Tag important moments as "gold nuggets" during calls, then search transcripts, adjust playback speed, and export clips. The app tracks which questions come up repeatedly, helping agencies and coaches spot patterns for content creation.

Good morning, good morning, good morning, or good afternoon, good afternoon, good afternoon, depending on where you are in the world. I just wanted to share a very quick video on a tool that we've been using in our business quite for quite a few months now that was shared with me when I spoke with somebody on a podcast. It's called Fathom, and it's a video app that connects beautifully to Zoom. So I just want to do a bit of a walkthrough of what Zoom. Zoom and Fathom actually look like. So as I've said in the copy, imagine that you're on a call with a client or a coaching client or just having a general meeting. We use it a lot for meetings in our agency and someone says something that's gold. It enables you to capture as the conversation is unrolling not only the video, it also gives you the transcription. It gives you a summary of the meeting, and it also gives you the opportunity to collect gold nuggets, etc., and highlight elements through the conversation. So lots of opportunities for you to create content or see repeating patterns through questions that are asked with your clients, etc. So there's some really good opportunities to make content creation and content repurposing potentially that much easier for you. So let me just quickly share share my screen and I'll show you some of the elements that we're actually using. I'm just going to jump into here, share this one and swap to my calls. So this here just shares with you what the back end of Fathom looks like. So it's fathom.video. Here you can see I've got all of my calls, my team calls when we've got team meetings, etc. And there's playlists that can be in here as well. But let me just go back to the calls, and it'll keep everything there for you. It's beautifully easy, very simple to work with. So I'm just going to show you what some of these calls actually look like. And what I love about it in particular is this opportunity here that you can see in yellow called a gold nugget. So there's opportunities that you can click on and it will actually bring up gold nuggets. So you can actually click on a button during the conversation and it'll actually then later highlight these elements for you. So you can see here it's highlighted 2 conversations that I've had or 2 points that have been said during the conversation. The other great thing is obviously you can get a transcription, which is what this is here that you can download. And you can copy the transcription to a Word doc, etc. It's got an AI summary of what was discussed, highlighting any gold nuggets, etc., that come up. It's also beautifully timestamped so you can find it. And these gold nuggets are also highlighted here within the video, as you can see here. You can also do playback speed at any speed that you want, et cetera. And you can copy the summary, et cetera, through to your storage of choice. Just another quick example. This is a conversation I've had with one of my other business partners. Again, we were doing a project together. We were doing some unpacking of a brand story, for example. And this is, I suppose, one of our processes. And we were using Miro for the first time and we were doing a Post-it note exercise. And again, you've got your transcription summary, etc. But the video is there, the transcription is there. What I also love is this section over here where it says, what questions did you ask? And more importantly, what questions did they ask? And that's a really great tool to see what questions your clients, if you've got coaching clients, are asking you on a regular basis so you can create some content around that. It really helps you see some repeating patterns with what your audience is actually asking you. So really just wanted to share a quick video on that new tool, which is called fathom.video. It's a free tool. It's super awesome. And I hope that's been helpful. You have a great day now. Take care. Bye.
