I believe you're about to launch a new book. What prompted you in the marketplace to write your new book, Phenomenal Teams and How Leaders Build High-Performing Teams That Last?
I've been working in this space for a long time. What I have come to embrace is that people love being in teams. We are by nature tribal. We are by nature love being in teams or tribes or families or whatever it is. But what I've realized, they really, really love being successful teams, long-lasting teams, teams where they grow as well as whatever the team delivers grows. But I was continually intrigued by how little time is genuinely spent on building teams. And I mean genuinely. So I was continually intrigued why this doesn't happen more. And so my book really was about how can I share the message with more? As I say, I think a lot of leaders Or would-be leaders or aspiring leaders treat team building as a one exercise, where for me, my belief and my evidence suggests it never ends. The building of highly successful teams, phenomenal teams, is an ongoing everyday occurrence. So really the book is around sharing that framework, sharing that structure, sharing that discipline, sharing the mistakes I made when I was in corporate. And I did make them all. That gives me enormous credibility. It's not my success that gives me credibility, it's my failures that give me credibility. credibility. And just to share that with more, that really is what's underneath. We're looking at a November release date.
