Hi, it's Sally here, and welcome to Your Giftedness and Strengths. This is my favorite module within the whole program. It's about discovering your way to shine brilliantly. It's about bringing yourself into your business and operating from your place of giftedness and strengths, and how we go about overlaying all of this into everything that you do in your business, how we overlay your giftedness and strengths and your brilliance into how you do your business development, how you also do your sales and marketing. Because when we add you, your giftedness and strengths, business really does become easy, efficient, and a whole lot more fun. Why I get so excited about this is this is the area where I really get to see people people blossom and shine. This discovery process is my giftedness, which I give to other people. So I've been in and around the business development arena for over 15 years. I've been involved in lots of personal development programs, and I've paid out lots of money for different events, as have many of you. But what I've seen through that process, both for myself and people I know and clients, is that we all go down that avenue, but we still don't necessarily always get the success that we're looking for. And that's often because during the programs or trainings, we're taught to take on and be like somebody else. And one of my pet peeves, for anyone that's been around when I've been having a soapbox moment, one of my pet peeves is getting people to become cardboard cutouts of somebody else. That is the reason why most people fail, is because they're trying to take on somebody else's persona or be something or somebody that they are not, or they're not operating from their own giftedness. They're to develop gifts that aren't actually naturally theirs, which makes the time frames a lot longer. So this part of the program is really about some self-discovery. So the program starts with simple, simple self-discovery techniques, which I'm going to take you through with some of the worksheets. And in the second part, we'll then explore and look at some profiling tools that I have found extremely advantageous and really, really helpful for you getting a clear understanding of who you are and how you operate. So for now, what we're going to do is dive into the self-discovery of you for you, and I'll help you with that. About the PDF or the worksheet that's titled Your Giftedness and Strength Discovery: Your Way to Shine Brilliantly Part 1. And what we're now looking at is we're just scrolling down to that very first page that has 3 squares or 3 rectangles on it. The first one says, describe you currently, so the you that you are currently, in 3 words. And then the next one is what you need most and your current challenges that you want to outshine. So this is really a quick 30-second quick brain dump, not, not a great deal of thought. Quickly describe how you would describe yourself in 3 words. They can be phrases or themes. It doesn't need to be a lot. What you're looking for most out of this discovery, what you're looking for most or what you're needing most in a particular element. That can be a bit in business or relationships, but generally it's the main discovery people are looking for around bringing themselves to their business. And what current challenges are you going to outshine or want to outshine? I then want you to have a quick snapshot, and again, this is just really, really quick. What current outcomes are you looking for? Is it profitability? Is it getting your marketing right? Is it understanding how to present yourself? Is it your credibility loop? How do you— how to build your reputation locally? Is it local area marketing? What are the current outcomes that you're looking for? And as always, just pause the video whenever you need to. The next one, for a quick, quick snapshot, is your vision of you, or for you, because this is going— that is the starting point— is your vision for yourself in 3 words. Then what we're going to do is have a look at all the things you do really, really well. Which 2 or 3 describe you the most? Now, this is probably the trickiest element for most people to, to do. What I found with this whole giftedness process, what you do naturally and what we do effortlessly and naturally ourselves, A, we don't recognize it in ourselves, and we certainly don't appreciate it because we're not aware of it. So you may not be aware of what it is that you do really, really well. That's fine. Have a quick guess at it here because as we'll go through, we'll actually dive into that more. And an example for me was I knew that I was really good at mixing and matching my wardrobe. I used to get comments of when I was a sales rep and worked in sales teams was, is your wardrobe a kilometer long? Now, it appeared as though it was, but what it was was I had some key pieces that were— I had the ability to mix and match. Now, I'll explore that mixing and matching more later because that's actually a key to one of my giftedness points. Discovery sheet is really just that. It is just getting a snapshot so we can determine where your starting point is. So we're getting that focused starting point of just generally where you're feeling and where you're And then we're looking at getting you on that trajectory ladder moving forward. So this worksheet is just really to just get that snapshot. What we're going to be covering in this video series just at this point for part 1 is looking at your starting position, which is what we've just done with that worksheet. We're going to dive into your giftedness and genius, and we're also going to explore courageous confidence. So let's keep going.
