Moving things in canva

Sarah learns to move objects in Canva by dragging them with the center handle, using arrow keys for fine adjustments, and aligning them with guides. The rotation control lets you spin items, and a new notes box lets teammates leave feedback directly on the design.

Hi Sarah. I'm just in your Canva. So just going to go through and have a look at the menu. Your LinkedIn template has been corrected by Rose. I haven't done anything with it yet, but that's just for your information. So let's have a look at the menu, which is this one here by the looks. I'm going to click on that. And just give you a bit of a walkthrough. So basically, when you click on it and you get that blue square around it, and you click on it, and you see these edges as well as this little thing here, the little square in the middle here, or this little pointer thing that's going around in circles, that's what enables you to move it back into place. That's the thing that helps you move it and you have to hold your finger down on the mouse to do that. So that's how we move that one back into place. Now we're going to move this one here down so you can see that this one is still highlighted. So we have to click in here so this one's highlighted and now there's no being able to move it until we get it onto there. And then we can move, move it down from there. And that, let me just see if I can bring that up again. The, that center line there enables us to see that we've got it centered and then we've got it lined up either side of the boxes there as well. So that, I'm just going to creep that up a little bit. So I've clicked on it. And then you can use your arrow keys to move it up, which is often easier. This thing here will enable you to spin it. This little box, which is a new thing here, enables you to add notes if you were working with a team or if you're working with me and you're wanting to change things. But that's a quick walkthrough about how to move things. So let me just have a quick look at the rest of it. That's fairly straightforward. That is fairly straightforward. I'm just going to click in there because we need to now highlight that comma because it's not in the right spot and put a space, etc. That looks all fairly straightforward. So that's a quick walkthrough. I hope that has helped.
