Two people at LAX review a Guatemalan Subway sandwich and airport snacks. The sandwich gets an 8 out of 10 despite generic tuna, but a brownie and two watermelon drinks cost $47 with tip, capturing the brutal markup of airport food.
Today we're going to be reviewing Guatemalan Subway.
It's the same everywhere.
8 out of 10. I like Subway. Tuna. It's not very Guatemalan, I must say. Made it to LAX, about to fly to Las Vegas. Great brownie. How much was 2 of these watermelon things and a brownie? $47 including tip.
I mean, the brownie is pretty good, but like you buy 2 drinks and a brownie and poof, goes. $50. We're here having breakfast, but it's turning into lunch. Because something went wrong with the order, so we got this for free. Escargots, snails. I've never had this in my life. Uno, dos, tres, and it's gone. I mean, if you cover it in oil and a lot of great herbs, it could be anything. I rate it an 8.
