Sam Feldt and vocalist Tame made "Lost in Desire" after Ash introduced them. They traded the demo back and forth through roughly 100,000 versions before finishing it. Sam's favorite moment is the tension-building section right before the drop.
So this crazy song all started with my friend Ash calling me. I've known him for a while, did a camp in Scotland with him, and he said, "I found this guy, Tame. He's the next big thing. You gotta sign him and work with this guy." So here he is, Tame.
Yeah, I've known Sam for a while now since he released Post Malone, and it was always a big dream for me to release a song with him on his label, Harvard Records. I did a session with Lilly, who's also a great German artist.
We did a demo, "Lost in Desire." Yeah, I was able to take that demo, send it back and forth, 100,000 versions, and then we ended on this beast. That's now out. And my favorite part of the song actually is just that part before the drop where you think it hits and then it hits you even harder. This one. What's your favorite part of the song?
