AppSumo has a four-person team that spends all day finding new software on Product Hunt, Twitter, and beta sites. They test everything hands-on, then decide what's worth promoting on the platform.
We have a team of, I think, around 4 people that full-time just try software all across the internet. But their literal job is like, go to Product Hunt, go to Google, go to Twitter, go to all these like beta lists, go to all these different sites, try the different software all across the internet, and then see which ones are worthy to get, you know, blasted on AppSumo.com.
