A Tesla buyer from nearly a decade ago now prefers the BMW iX, saying Tesla's interior quality lags behind German and American rivals. The quiet acceleration that once felt futuristic is now standard on any electric car. Sam Parr calls Tesla "super not safe" and dismisses its design.
I bought a Tesla like maybe 8 or 9 years ago. It was insane. It felt like, you know, going to the future or whatever. And I just bought the new BMW iX, which is like their electric SUV. And you realize that the main feature of the Tesla is how quiet and fast it accelerates. And instead of being a Tesla feature, you realize, oh, that's just an electric car feature. Tesla, frankly, the interior is so much worse than BMW and all these German and American manufacturers.
I'm not a Tesla fan. I also think that they're like super not safe. Sexy.
Yeah, like the Model X looks like a weird big toe.
And whenever I sit in them, they feel like plastic.
