David Friedberg started Telebomb.com in college, a website where people could buy phone and long-distance services online. He raised seed money from family, registered the business, and opened a Wells Fargo account before deciding to pursue a job after graduation instead.
Tried to start a business when I was in college, raised some money from some family members. The idea was to let you buy all of your telecommunications services on a website, you know, everything from your cell phone bill to your long-distance provider, which was kind of important at the time and so on. Originally called Telebomb.com, I renamed it InPhone Services and I registered it. I set up a Wells Fargo account. There was a whole experience of starting a business. Ultimately, I kind of got caught up in trying to get a job out of school. That's actually not a bad idea, especially during that time.
