Sam Parr had dinner with comedian Hasan Minhaj and spent the whole time trying to make him laugh. He couldn't pull it off. Minhaj's intelligence and storytelling left Parr in awe, unable to land a joke.
I went out with Hasan last night for dinner. He is so smart. He's so much smarter than I am. I learned that. And number 2, I was so intimidated to be around him. I was like, can I make him laugh? If I can make him laugh, I'm like, this is a win. And I really didn't. I didn't make him laugh. After I hung out with him, I was like, dude, this guy's got me in a trance. He could tell me about anything. He's so funny and good at storytelling. Like, I'm so into it.
