Ryan Holiday starts his day with a run or walk, avoids his phone, and journals before writing for two to three hours. He handles business work from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm, then stops early.
What does your normal workday look like? Are you doing like a 9 to 5? Uh, not 9 to 5. Like, I wake up early, I go for a run or a walk with the kids, whether we're at my farm or my place in town. I don't check my phone in the morning. I don't eat in the morning. I usually journal in the morning and then I go, I write usually for 2 or 3 hours. And then the rest of the day after that is business, other work stuff. I'm done by 4 almost every day, so I'm probably work 8:30 to 4.
