MrBeast recorded videos to himself six months, five years, and ten years in the future. In the six-month video he predicted 100,000 subscribers; in the five-year one, he said hitting one million would be the bare minimum. His channel now has 40 million subscribers.
The greatest thing I ever did in my life is I scheduled uploaded a video for 6 months and I go, "Hi, me in 6 months, I think I'll have 100,000 subscribers." And then I hit stop recording, then hit record. "Hi, me in 5 years, bro, if you don't have a million subscribers, you're a fucking idiot." My prediction was I'd have a million subscribers. So it goes live on the channel like 2 years ago and I had like 40 million subscribers and I'm like, "I hope you have at least a million subscribers and maybe you're doing this as a job. I don't know, I make like $10 a month right now. I hope you can make it a job in the next 5 years." I thought it was one of the coolest things I ever did.
