In this instructional video, the presenter explains why starting the day with a light, detoxifying juice is crucial for energy and digestion, emphasizing that the first food influences the stomach’s activity for the rest of the day. She highlights ash gourd (petha/winter melon) as the top detox juice due to its high alkalinity and toxin‑absorbing properties, followed by coconut water and seasonal vegetables like spinach, ridge gourd, wheatgrass, carrot, and beetroot. She describes how to prepare ash gourd juice using a juicer or blender and strain it, optionally mixing with coconut water for sweetness. The core of the video presents three detailed juice recipes: (1) Glorious Green – cucumber, celery, spinach, lettuce, and apples (or pears); (2) Pink Power – apples, carrot, beet, celery, and lemon; (3) Clean Carrot – carrots, pineapple, and oranges. For each, she outlines ingredient preparation, juicing steps, and taste notes. She advises using seasonal produce to avoid pesticides and encourages ingredient substitutions and personal creativity. The overall message is to provide easy, healthy juice options for weight loss and detoxification, with practical tips for preparation and customization.

Hello, welcome to the juicing lecture. So earlier I discussed how you should always start your day with something detoxifying. The first thing you eat in the morning decides how your stomach is going to operate for the rest of the day. Have something heavy and all of your body's energy will go into digesting that food, leaving very little for other work or for any other task. Have something light, such as a detox juice, and you'll have tons of energy left for other things. So, a little recap. The number 1 thing you can drink is the juice of ash gourd. Here in India, it's called petha. In other places, it might be known as winter melon. Number 2 is coconut water. Number 3 is the juice of any other seasonal vegetable, such as spinach or ridge gourd or wheatgrass, carrot, beetroot. Anything. Ash gourd is the best because it's the most alkaline food present in nature. It's like from the moment it enters your body, it kind of starts to suck in all the toxins. So when it leaves your body, it carries with it a lot of toxic waste. It can be compared to a sponge that absorbs waste. So ash gourd is the king of all juices. To make the juice, take an ash gourd, simply peel off the skin, Take off the seeds, cut it into pieces, and juice it all together. It's that simple. If you don't have a juicer, you can also use a blender. Blend the ash gourd together and strain the pulp through a muslin cloth or a nut milk bag. If you want, you can mix in some coconut water with the ash gourd juice, just to make it a little sweeter. Of course, the easiest thing to do is to drink just one type of pure juice at a time, either ash gourd or coconut or of a vegetable. But sometimes you just need something different, something more tasty. So let's dive in. I am going to show you how to make these awesome juices. So the first juice we are going to prepare is the glorious green juice. The ingredients you need are 1 large cucumber, 3 to 4 celery stalks, 1 cup spinach, 4 lettuce leaves, and 2 apples. You can also switch apples with pears if you want. First, cut and prep all your ingredients to fit in the juicer. Then simply juice everything. This juice is one of my favorites. It tastes so good, and it's full of all the leafy greens that your body needs. Next up is my Pink Power Juice. To make it, you will need 2 apples, 1 medium carrot, 1 small beet, 3-4 celery stalks, and half a lemon. Once you've got your ingredients cut, juice them like you normally would. The color of this juice is absolutely stunning. Squeeze a little lemon from the top, and there you go. Next is the clean carrot juice. What you need is 4 carrots, half a cup of pineapple, and 2 oranges. Once again, Simply cut and juice everything up. Now this juice is a little on the sweet side, and I usually have it as a morning treat. So these were the 3 juices. Another point, make sure you drink these juices only when the particular fruits and vegetables used in that juice is in season. Unseasoned fruits and vegetables contain so much chemicals and pesticides so that they can be grown out of season. So I hope you've got some nice juice inspirations. Feel free to substitute ingredients, mix and match things. things and make what you love. Happy detox!
