4 mistakes you may be making while drinking water. First, gulping it down quickly. When you gulp down water very fast, your body gets a mini shock. Instead, don't drink your water, eat your water. Push it in your mouth for a few seconds and only then swallow it. Second, drinking water that is too cold or too hot. When you drink ice-cold water or extremely hot water, your body has to put double effort. First, to bring the water to room temperature, and then to send it inside. So drink water at room temperature, and if it's too hot, use earthen pots. Third, drinking water while eating. When you eat, there's a digestive fire which helps to digest that food. When you chug down a glass of water during or immediately after a meal, you extinguish that fire and the meal has a much harder time getting digested. 4. Drinking water from plastic bottles. So when we drink water from plastic bottles, we're also intaking some amount of plastic inside our bodies. Instead, drink from copper, steel, glass, or clay.
