Fasting lets your body repair itself the way medicine can't. When you eat constantly, digestion never stops, like traffic that prevents road repairs. Only when you pause eating can your body focus on cellular healing, especially at night.

The best analogy to understand fasting— imagine there's a road and there's a pothole in the middle of the road, and there's cars running all day long on that road. If you have to fix that pothole, how would you do it? What's the first thing you would need to do? You would need to stop the traffic. You would need to stop the cars, right? Can you fix that pothole without stopping the cars? No. Same is with the body. This is a road. It's a digestive system. If there's a fixing needed in any part of the body, can we do that fixing without stopping the traffic? No. Or at least reduce the traffic, or give overnight breaks to the system so that, that fixing can happen at least at night. But what do we do? We eat a heavy dinner at night, go to sleep. Even at night, our body is working, working, working, not being able to do any fixing, any repair work. So yeah, fasting is like stopping the traffic so that the body can heal.
