Two speakers recommend three changes for managing PCOD: cutting dairy for plant-based alternatives, doing pelvic-opening yoga to clear toxins, and fasting 14 to 16 hours overnight by eating dinner at 7 PM. They claim these habits help regulate hormones and reduce cysts and irregular periods.

Especially for PCOD, there are 3 natural habits that are extremely beneficial. The first one is giving up dairy products. In today's dairy farms, cows are injected with a lot of artificial hormones to increase their milk production. And guess where all those hormones land up? In their milk and then in our own bodies, disturbing our hormonal balance. So instead, switch to a plant-based diet using plant-based milk substitutes like coconut or almond milk. The second major contributor to PCOD is lack of movement.
You see, toxins from our environment, from our food, from stress, they get accumulated in our bodies, especially the pelvic region, and create cysts, fibroids, irregular periods. So try practicing asanas that open up the pelvic region. Cycle every day, climb stairs instead of taking the elevator, and dance your heart out whenever you get a chance.
The 3rd step is to maintain a 14 to 16 hour gap between your dinner and your breakfast the next morning. Fasting is the best healer. The easiest way to do this is to eat an early dinner around 7 PM and then avoid late-night snacking.
These practices have helped us immensely in our healing journeys. We've healed from PCOD, hormonal imbalances, acne, cysts, fibroids, and we really hope they can do the same for you.
