Adam Sand shows how one AI agent can handle what a whole production department does: checking weather across 23 job sites, rescheduling them, calling homeowners with an AI voice script via JustCall, sending SMS and email confirmations, reassigning crews, and updating records in Zuper and QuickBooks all from a single chat.
How hard do you think it would be to run production from one production manager operating in all of these states? It would be very profitable, but how hard would it be? I'll give you an example of where it might get hard and where an agent would help. So if you woke up one day and you had an agent and the production manager could come in and say, hey, what does the weather look like for all of my jobs for the next 3 days? Well, let me walk you through what that would look like to an agent. It would say jobs. Okay, jobs are stored in the Zuper app, so I need to go look there. And he said 3 days, so I need to think about, well, what does the weather look like? So I also need to go look at OpenWeather. So it's going to pull into that API and it's going to say it looks like there will be significant rain on 23 job sites. So can you imagine waking up at 5 in the morning and rescheduling 23 job sites? That would be a lot of work, right? So you would say, yes, please follow the job reschedule directive. Directive has executions. that become skills. So say, oh well, then I should go to the weather and gather the forecast for the affected areas to know when the weather is going to be better. So we know it's going to be raining on 23 job sites in the next 3 days. When is the weather good? So this is okay, some areas will only have a 2-day window. I should check for jobs in Zooper that are over 2 days in length. Remember, this is the toggle tax that you as a human would have to do, but it just pings the API right within its own brain. And it says, well, I should probably check to see if any of those jobs have had materials ordered from the supplier. So then it's going to go check QuickBooks. Then it's going to say, I'm going to review the next 10 days forecast to move the jobs around intelligently. So it's going to learn, it's going to go check the weather for the next few days. Well, then it's going to go back to Zooper. It's going to reorganize the calendar with according to the weather forecast. Then it's got to go gather the contact details from HubSpot to find the homeowners and the tenants. So the landlords and the tenants of all these houses. Then it's going to go into Generative AI Voice Script to call those customers and give them a reschedule notification. Notifies 23 people, gets ahold of 17. 6 didn't pick up the phone. So it's going to have to generate an SMS. So it sends everybody an SMS. Then it's going to get 16 confirmation emails sent out of HubSpot. 5 of them are going to be awareness emails because they were not yet contacted. Then it's going to go into Zooper and get the crew contact details so it can reassign the jobs and inform them. By sending them messages in JustCall. Then it's going to go gather a link to the deal for the one customer who they couldn't get a text for, or the one customer who said, absolutely unacceptable. I can't believe you're rescheduling. That one pissed off person that we're worried about. And we're going to go let the production manager know about it. The production manager says, okay, I called Bob, angry Bob, and I let him know that we're going to do his job on Saturday. I called Jose and he said he'll do it. And then it's going to go schedule the job in Zooper for Jose. Update the notes in HubSpot, send them a text confirmation and an email confirmation off HubSpot. That's what this looks like in real life with an agent. You worked from simply one screen. You never left. You were right back, or your production manager, just talking in a chat window. That all happened in the background. The screens are flickering and moving and APIs were getting pinged and stuff was happening. You never left this screen. But all of that work ended up happening and these agents can help you collect money faster, find more jobs faster, rehash old deals faster, and so much more.
