A short transcript excerpt from a YouTube conversation (featuring Adam Sand) about using software and processes to make meetings and quarterly planning more efficient. Speakers discuss timing meetings, tracking time spent per agenda section, and focusing on fewer quarterly priorities ("rocks") to improve goal completion and morale.
Times your meeting. It times like you press start when you start your meeting.
Yeah.
And it times like how much time you spend on each section. As far as priorities. Last year we caught ourselves loading ourselves up with too many rocks in Q3 and Q4 and then we do half of them and then we feel shitty because we're like, oh, we didn't hit our goals. So now like I have two rocks for Q1. That's it.
I love that software to buy back time. I mean, this is what our whole business is built around, is to make the work more rewarding and engineer better customer experiences. 90IO is basically like attraction enabled software. It's funny because it's the one place where I, the hater of rogue spreadsheets, has a rogue spreadsheet and we do traction in a spreadsheet. But it's because this didn't exist when we first started helping our clients with their level 10 meetings and walking away with our to DOS for the CRMs that we build them. But it's really cool that he is using 90io, that he's using traction. You should be using in your business. Anybody who's not doing 100 million, this is how you get there. Save this video so you can come back and execute on it later.
