You don't need to be perfect or fully prepared to start. The speaker argues that waiting for everything to be in place is pride, not wisdom. Show up because God called you there, not because you've earned the right.

Believing that you have to be the best at something or have the best whatever it is in order to get started is a form of pride because God doesn't ask us what we have. He asks us to obey him. So I'm not one of those people who believe I have to have everything together before I start. I just start and I believe and I trust God and I show up like I belong here because he called me to it. That means I belong here. Okay, I belong.
