A speaker warns against pride in Christian ministry, which manifests as believing your revelations are uniquely valid, that God works only through your circle, or that others are un-anointed for thinking differently. Pride becomes idolatry when you pressure others to conform to your way.

Hey, people of God. I haven't been feeling well, so there hasn't been any new videos posted. Pray my strength in the Lord. I trust the Lord and he is so faithful, but that's not why we're here. For the past couple weeks, um, I've been really watching as well as praying, and I want to send out this warning, and I'm going to just say it how I heard God say it to me. There are a lot of people right now in the body of Christ who their intentions for doing what they are doing— your intentions for doing whatever it is that you are doing is great, and your why as to why you are showing up, as to why you are preaching, as to why you are teaching— God's not against that. But what he does have a problem with is when You begin to think— and this, this mindset is so subtle, it's so very sneaky, and it's very easy to start walking in— whenever you begin to think that you, to yourself— I'm talking about the responses you have in your heart to yourself— God is very much so against this idea that your ministry is the only one that he backs because You had some crazy wild out-of-body experience and nobody else had that experience, or maybe a few different people had that experience, and God can only use you and he's only speaking to you. God is against that. That is prideful. When you begin to think that your ministry is the only ministry that God backs and that he supports, and God is only speaking to you, only giving revelation to you, and he can never speak to nobody else. Be careful with that. That's the spirit of pride. The second thing is thinking that God can only use you and the people that you know, that you've chosen to build with, to prepare with, to do church with, to do life with— that God can only use you to bring revival into a nation, a city, a town. No, like, you are not the Savior. Jesus is. This is the spirit of pride. Another way that pride has been sneaking into the body of Christ, into the hearts of believers, is believing that because other people don't speak, move, think, act like you, or respond like you, then they're not anointed, they're not called, they're not chosen. But here's the truth: idolatry is a real thing that God is addressing in the body of Christ. And if you are feeling the need to tell other people that when they don't speak They don't think, they don't act, they don't move, they don't respond like you. You are making people feel pressured to begin to worship you. They're gonna start talking like you, they're gonna start speaking like you, they're gonna start thinking like you. And that's not why God called any of us into ministry. Be careful about the spirit of pride. It sneaks in very subtly. I'm telling you, it's very subtle. And kill it before it destroys you, because God can use anybody that he wants. They don't have to have some wild, crazy testimony. They don't have to have been saved for 5 to 10 to 11, 20, 30 years either for God to use them. Nobody has to be eloquent in speech. God will use whom he pleases. Whom he finds pleasure in using is who God will use. Be very careful not to allow the spirit of pride. Don't allow the spirit of pride. Don't allow the spirit of pride to cause your good to be spoken evil of. Destroy it before it kills you. It stinks in the presence of God. You can be doing a good thing, but that good thing will be seen as evil if it's rooted and moved and executed Underneath the spirit of pride. Love y'all.
