You know that saying that people love you better when you're broken? But the truth is, if people are only present in your life when you are broken or you're going through things that are causing your heart to be in distress, they do not really love you. Because true love prays for you. True love wants to see you set free. True love wants to see you walk in the identity that Christ Died for you to have. True love wants to see you reconciled to God. True love does not affirm your brokenness. True love does not affirm what is causing you distress. True love prays, believes, hopes. True love sees God's hand on your life and partners with him in agreement for what God said concerning your life. Nothing more, nothing less.
