A sermon arguing that Christians mistake their personal opinions for God's will. The speaker says God is sovereign over all creation, including the wicked, and that believers should submit to Christ's authority rather than promote their own preferences online. He calls this a heart issue that distracts from preparing for Christ's return.

One of the things that I've been noticing, a lot of us really do think that how God decides to move is up to us. Over all the earth and everything in it, he is Lord. That means wicked people even gotta find themselves submitting to the Lordship of Christ. That means people who do evil even gotta find themselves submitting to the Lordship of Christ. And you know how I can tell that we don't believe that? Because a lot of us are hopping online sharing our opinions and our preferences. Well, I just don't think that the president that we got is capable of leading this nation, and I just don't think this, and I just don't think that. That's fine. That what, you know, you're allowed to have your opinions, but your opinions do not tell God how to make decisions. They don't. They don't. So if you find yourself sharing more of your preferences, more of what you believe, more of what you think, than you do pondering on the scriptures and what they actually say on the page, and taking it for what it says on the page and not adding your own 2 cents in there to justify your silly and lofty opinions or your suspicions that you have about people, you got a heart issue. Because right now the body of Christ should be preparing for the return of Christ. We shouldn't be off doing our own thing, saying something contrary to what God already said. He already said it in his word. So why we not agreeing with him is the question. Why we not agreeing with God is the question. Why aren't we agreeing with God? I'm so thankful That I'm not God. I'm so thankful that you are not God. I'm so thankful that none of us are God. I'm so thankful that none of the decisions that are best for humanity as a whole were left up to us, because if it was, we would all be burning in hell right now. And I'm so thankful for Jesus, who is the Savior, because I'm thankful that God does not bend to serve our preferences. I'm so thankful that He is sovereign and he is Lord over all. And because the earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof, that means even the wicked people in the earth have to bend their knee to say Jesus is Lord.
