If you feel frustrated trying to surrender to God, you might be relying on your own strength instead of asking the Holy Spirit to empower you. Christ is the source of that strength. Examine where your frustration comes from and pray for the Holy Spirit's help.

You know what? Some of the frustration you may feel in this season has absolutely nothing to do with you going through spiritual warfare. Some of the frustration you feel is because you keep trying to submit and surrender to God without the help of the Holy Spirit. In fact, God never told you that you could submit or surrender to God about anything. What he said is that you can do all things through Christ Who strengthens you? So it is Jesus who strengthens you to submit and surrender to God, not you yourself. So check your frustration, get to the root of it, because not all the time is it spiritual warfare. Some of it is because you keep trying to do things in your own strength, period, and it's never gonna work. So acknowledge the Holy Ghost by praying for him to strengthen you to submit and surrender yourself to God, and things will change.
