Leaders should write a book because audiences care more about the journey behind your knowledge than the facts themselves. A book becomes a lasting asset that captures your beliefs and legacy, differentiates you, and lets you influence others and yourself.

I really think anyone should write a book, but the reason leaders in particular is that it's like creating an asset for yourself about what you believe, who you are, what's your legacy in this world, right? Nobody needs to know as much as you think. What they usually need to know is how did you get to know what you know, right? Because I can ChatGPT what information— how someone got there is really nuanced and really different than everyone else's. Most leaders miss that opportunity. And I think if you can write something that shows your perspective, you really have a chance to change an industry, a community, and definitely a person, but most of all yourself.
