Scott Duffy interviews Greg Reid: Secret Knock on The Difference Between Opinion & Council- long

Hey, guys, My name is Scott Duffy with Entrepreneur magazine and S1 Media, and I'm here with the one and only Greg Reed. How you doing?

I am one of the Greg Reeds out there.

Absolutely. You're not just one of the Greg reads, but we're here at the Think and Grow Rich film project. But you really started it all with the Think and Grow Rich book series, and I was hoping you could tell.

Us a little bit about that. Yeah, it started about 10 years ago when Don Green, CEO of the Napoleon Hill foundation, gave me an opportunity to travel in the footsteps of Napoleon Hill and interview today's top doc leaders. And it's been an incredible journey.

Wow. And when you see the world's top thought leaders, who are some of the.

People that you had a chance to meet with? Gosh, everyone from the guy who started Apple Computers to the gentleman who's building the elevator to space, from the founder of Ugg Boots to the creator of Chuck E. Cheese, and then everyone in between. And the one common denominator, stickability. Y' all have the power to persevere, which Napoleon Hill talked about so much.

What's. Is there one or, you know, is there a story that stands out? You know, somebody shared something along the journey? Just. It's the one that you would like to share with.

Yeah, I think it keeps going down. To seek counsel and not listen to people's opinions. Opinion is based on, you know, ignorance, lack of knowledge and experience, like a family friend who's never done what you're about to venture. And counsel is based on wisdom, knowledge, and mentorship. If we would spend our activities only seeking counsel, people are getting the results we want. And stop listening to people's opinion. That's the day our life would change.

So tell me what you're working on today.

Well, we're doing the new Think and Grow Rich book. It's called the Magic Key. But on top of that, we got the RE release 10 years later of Think and Grow Rich 3ft from Gold, which I'm so excited about. It's coming out in 2018.

So when you talk about the re release and you talk about new books, you have like, 40 bestsellers.

Well, I've been publishing 64 books, 45 languages, and I think someone read two of them. But the whole idea is this. If you keep taking successful actions with the right people in the right order, the right things eventually come together. And that's what this program and this movie is all about. So many amazing people behind the scenes, creating a legacy that will go on to live at Infinite.

How has Think and Grow Rich impacted your life? Immensely?

And it's not just the information, it's the application of it. You know, a lot of people want to think and grow rich, but we need to think, pause, contemplate, and then grow rich. So the whole idea for me is the application. It's the action and the attraction that makes our dreams come true. You think it, feel it, but ultimately you got to do it.

Amazing. So I know that you have a new movie coming out, like, so you went films, movies. Tell us about the new movie.

Yeah, it's called Wishman. One of the people I interviewed through Think and Grow Rich stickability was Frank Shanklitz, co founder of the Make a Rich Foundation. I asked him, I said, hey, Frank, what was your wish? And he goes, no one ever asked me. He says, whatever it is, I'm going to grant it. I'm your genie. And he said he wanted a story to be told so his grandkids know he did something cool. So it's taken five years, and I'm.

Glad to say he did something cool.

Today we finished filming of Wishman. His life story be coming out next year.
