On Today's Business and Burgers slider Jason Turley explores the significance of intent versus just going through the motions.
As a young kid learning how to play baseball, or even as a professional playing baseball, your intent in what you're trying to do is so important. Because if you're not intentionally trying to throw hard or trying to hit the ball hard or trying to run fast, if you're just trying to go through the motions, then it usually doesn't work out where you usually just go through the motions. And I think in business, if your intent is to make an impact, if your intent is to make a change, if your intent is to leave a legacy, then you're more often than not going to hit that. And if you start with the right intent, if you're aligned with what you want to do, I think you're able to do great things.
