Hi, this is Scott Duffy. You know, last year, I had the opportunity to go and take race car driving lessons, and there were a lot of things that I learned, like, in this incredible day on the track. But I think the one that really got me, I think the one that, like, sticks with me the most is this. It's learning how to crash. Because as entrepreneurs and business leaders, there's so many things that we face every day, so many reasons that we can get off course again. This lesson, this is the one that stuck. You see, what happens is when you're at least the way I was taught is as you're driving around the course, when you least expect it, the instructor who's sitting right next to you, what they do is they take their hand and they tug at your steering wheel. So when you're least expecting it and you're going 60, 70, 80 miles an hour, and you're out of control. Now, what's the first thing that most of us do when things get out of control? We look right at the wall, and that's what happens in the car. And as soon as our focus gets off of our goal and it goes to the wall, the rest of our body follows. And that's how race car drivers crash. So the instructor has one job. It's like the only thing they have to do. And it's so simple. All they have to do is take their hand and put it on your head and drive your head back to where it is you want to go. And once you get focused back on your goal, the rest of your body follows. That's the way to crash. Stay focused on your goal, stay positive, keep your eye on the horizon, and you will crush it for more. Come to ScottDuffy.com and have an awesome day.
