Scott Duffy argues you should mentor someone roughly half your age once a month. You'll get fresh perspectives that keep you current while they get guidance. It's mutual benefit, not charity.

Hi, my name is Scott Duffy and today I want to talk to you about mentoring others. One of the lessons that I learned a long time ago is to find at least one person that's half my age and serve as a mentor for them every single month. And what I found is by giving to that person, I wasn't just helping to enrich their life, but I was receiving. And what was I receiving? I was receiving a fresh perspective, a new way of looking things, a way of really kind of staying young and staying current because the way that person looked at problems, the way they approached the world was completely different than the place that I came from. And what that does is it keeps us fresh, it keeps us relevant, it keeps all these things while again helping somebody else. So again, find somebody half your age, become a mentor today and make a difference. For more go to scottduffy.com, have an awesome day. Sam.
