Martin Roberts, Mental Health Lead within one of the UK's largest financial institutions. I support the wellbeing of approximately 7,000 colleagues within one of the largest divisions within that institution, and my role involves speaking with experts, liaising with experts, speaking with specialists so we can support our employees' wellbeing. And one aspect I've recently keen to explore was around emotional intelligence. I've heard a lot about emotional intelligence and what I've been— what I've now got a greater understanding is how all three components are so, so intrinsically linked to our overall wellbeing. Part of that journey is undertaking my own coaching, and that was part of the EQ 2.0 assessment, which Scott Watson from Summit Training has helped me to deliver. And now I have a great appreciation around how valuable emotional intelligence is to understanding people's, employees' overall wellbeing. It creates a happier, more productive workforce, and we all want to achieve that happier, productive workforce. So I would recommend anybody who's wanting to explore more around the topic of wellbeing, don't just include it as being, you know, physical well-being, mental well-being, even spiritual well-being, but emotional well-being is also a key fundamental, fundamental part of that overall piece. And again, I would recommend anybody to undertake that through Scott Watson and Summit Training.
