¡Hola! My name is Jacqueline Glazerman and I'm the Head of Pastoral at Caxton College here in Valencia, Spain. Part of my role here at the school is to ensure that we offer continued professional development for our staff, particularly in the pastoral areas, and as a school, emotional intelligence was something that we were particularly keen to develop. Being a British school abroad, it can sometimes be quite difficult to access up-to-date and relevant training information. So it was really important for me to find a company that could provide that. Summit Training offered us a unique experience to participate in what they call remote or distance learning. Prior to our training starting, they helped us to design and develop a training programme that was relevant to our specific needs as a school. We had regular contact during the training and before the training via email, via phone, and via Skype conference calling. They allowed us access to their management training channel and also emailed regular links to relevant articles to do with emotional intelligence training. As a result of the training, our staff here really increased their awareness of their own emotional intelligence and were also provided with the tools to help to develop emotional intelligence in all of our students. We'd really like to thank Summit Training for all of their help, for their professionalism, and for the service that they provided. In particular to Scott Watson for his regular emailing to me and to Dirk as well for his support. Thanks very much.
