Not just here as entrepreneur, but high school, college. There are so many bad myths out there and I will tell you this. Merrill is just not only an amazing individual first and foremost, he's got a big heart. But he is as we like to solve the credit messiah. He is a big fan of the Matrix. We should call him Neo because he is the one out there sharing the message to helping people avoid falsehoods when it comes to making things happen. So honored to have him. He's been on a big big push last year. The letter part of the last year going through finding all these different mess are going on. I won't take any of his thunder but we will bring him on here live in just a second. Let me make sure we get him up here live, ask him to unmute because that's the only way you can get Meryl not to talk is to mute him digitally with a button there and have him start his video. But Meryl, that truth. Happy New Year to you my friend and the get fundable family as well. Therefore you should see a thing that allows you to share. There he is. What is going on?
It is so good to see you and your tribe man. Your tribe has always been just the top notch, right? So I'm thrilled to be here. It's been I can't believe we've only been through 10 days of January. It feels like a month because so much is happening so fast. This mythology rollout, this myths, misrepresentations, everything. Great things to talk about today. We're going to blow some minds tonight. So I'm really thrilled about this, you guys.
Yeah, you. Actually, there's more than 300 myths, but we went 300 because it just made sense marketing wise.
Or swear I love. No, no. That was awesome. And by the way, I have a free gift. I'm building an ebook. I gotta make it look decent. But for everybody who sends us an email, we will give them a link to get a free copy of the 300 myth. Even though we're caught talking about a bunch tonight, I'll give it to anybody who. Who asks for it. So we'll pick it up and knock it out.
There we go.
Cool.
And I'll send you a list of those that joined us live here. But you can also reach out to Merrill. Meryl's really easy. It's Merrill. Getfundable.com well, let.
Yeah, let's go to bootcamp@getfundable.com so that way it ends up in Sky's universe. And sky is the master of all things get fundable.
So he's a master of the get fundable marketing domain. There you go.
So exactly.
I know you got a presentation. You're probably pulling up. I'll hang in here. You want to take questions at the very end probably, don't you? Because I know a lot of your stuff.
We're at the very end because how does the audio sound? Does it look like. Sound like I'm in an echo chamber?
No, sounds great. I think it sounds good.
Excellent. Very good. Okay, so you just tell me when you are going to recognize some. I'm bringing some boot camp stuff to the table tonight because there are too many myths that aren't getting enough attention. We just got to stop the madness, right? Gotta stop the madness. So.
Exactly. So you got the power to share your screen and go from there, my friend.
All right, getting ready to share screen now. Here we go. That one. All right, so let's move this over. I have four monitors, so it takes a second. Let's.
That's fine. One of the great things is I love how while you're doing that, everybody, Meryl put his team. I see sky on here. Hey, Sky. Hey, Jessica. Hey, Brad. Everybody out there from the get fundable team out there, their team did a very in depth focus on these different myths out there. And you'd be surprised. I was surprised when Mary and I were talking about This a couple weeks ago and just absolutely blown away there for you. So we see your GF logo.
There we go.
There we go. Take it away, my friend.
Can we see everybody here? All right, everybody, I would like to welcome all of our live listeners. Also, if you're catching this on the YouTube channel or otherwise. Love having you here. Thank you. Scott, you and I have been doing this for years. And because there are so many, so many problems in underwriting and our understanding about personal credit, business credit, everything is just so ski wampus out there that this year 2022, we are on a campaign to debunk over 300 credit, credit repair, business funding, real estate myths. And so tonight is launch party. And thank you, by the way, Scott, for the 300. That was so funny. I love the movie, but that was so freaking funny. I absolutely loved it. So thank you for that. Now I'd like to get everybody. This is a participatory sport tonight. So please, everybody show me, you know, where the hand raise button is. Just raise your hand for me, everybody, please raise your hand. Just raise your hand because I'm going to be asking questions. I'm going to want you guys to choose in Elaine's got it. Donald, Iris, Cynthia, rj, David, Sandra, Roberta, John, Sandra and Susan. All right, very good. So make sure that you guys have that close to hand because there are going to be things that I want you to make sure that I'm on point. And now, everybody, I'd like you to type in yes or no or something in the chat. Make sure you guys know where the chat is because I'm going to ask you questions if you understand what I'm saying. And I just want the hell yes. Get used to get the mind blown emoji. Get ready for that one. There we go, Marcia. Absolutely. What? What did he say? You're going to get a few of those tonight as well. All right, first of all, I've been doing this, Scott, this May, it's 30 years. I started Lexington Law in May 1st of 1992. I've been doing this almost 30 years and it's still my jam. I love this because everybody, thank you guys for all your yeses. I love that we have power. If you learn anything tonight, you guys, we have power over our funding capability. We just have to know what we're doing. So what you see on screen now is the truth, the whole trut, nothing but the truth. We're going to be talking about insider secrets that I got in the hallowed halls of FICO and lender underwriting teams about how to be fundable, what checkboxes we need to check in order for them to love lending to us. So give me a yes. Is that interesting to you to know what the check boxes would be for lenders to look at you and go, yes, yes, yes, I want them. So we got Jerry and David and Steven and Donald's. Yes, you guys. Thank you, John. John, Sherry. Absolutely right. So that's what we're about. Now, I'm committed to three objectives. We want more funds so that we can thrive. Those funds give us the opportunity to do more deals, buy more notes, do a better and faster turns in real estate, and imagine being able to keep the money in your own pocket rather than having to partner up or hard money lenders, et cetera. So my goal here then is to make sure that you can see for yourself. You don't have to believe me, don't have to believe Scott. You can see for yourself that there is a clear path to be able to get the least expensive business loans and lines of credit, regardless of where you are right now. Perfect example. End of last week, I interviewed one of our clients. He spent nine months, literally nine months doing our relationship building. Some of the things you're going to learn about today, relationship building activities with the bank. And he got in two banks, $50,000 business line of credit at each. He was doing a kind of testimonial for me. He's like, merrill, I know what you told me to do. I did exactly what you told me to do. I still don't know how it worked. This is crazy. It's awesome. And now we're going for two more banks. So there is a way to get. Oh, by the way, it was prime plus 0.75%. His lines of credit were 4% on this hundred grand. You guys just take notes, get ready to have that mind blown, that mind blown emoji, because it's no joke. Now we're facing a bunch of funding challenges. We have lack of capital or the alternative lending is super expensive, or you already know that. Note buyers, real estate investors. Sometimes we're already too risky for traditional lenders. We're going to talk about how we work through each one of those concerns. How do we do it? We got to navigate four funding minefields that exist that's just replete with funding landmines. Now, what do I mean by it's kind of a Merrill, that's kind of a violent metaphor. How many of you have walked into a bank, filled out an application online Wherever you did it and you got denied and you have no idea why. Give me a yes if you guys. Or raise your hand if you relate to that. Raise your hand if you relate to that. Where you walked in looks. Yeah, absolutely. You guys. You guys can't see the hands. I see 8, 9, 10, 11 hands. You guys. Imagine being able to avoid the funding landmines because you know exactly what a lender's looking at before you even fill out the application. So let's go through quickly, what are the four funding minefields? 1. This game keeps changing, you guys. It changes all the time going into Covid, kind of lurp derping along in the middle of COVID kind of out of COVID back into Covid. The credit game keeps changing. So what happens is you think you're playing checkers and the lenders are playing chess, right? What's going on today in business credit is like mortgages were in 2008. Everything is changing behind our backs and nobody has bothered to tell us not one thing. And it is essential that you have someone in your corner that keeps you updated with all of these changes and what new plays to make. Because it's no longer checkers you guys borrow. Education and your knowledge of what you're doing is vital. I have hundreds of testimonials of people who are saying that what you're learning tonight should have been taught in high school, in college or something. This is fundability, the difference between playing checkers and playing chess and winning at chess. So the next one. Supposed experts are promoting myths and misrepresentations. I'm here tonight. We're going to start this process to shine the light on all the lies you've been fed for years. Here's a perfect example. I opened up. I have a large screen monitor. I opened up this book, Amazon. I bought every one of these credit books and more that didn't fit on my screen, but every single one of them. And to date, that's what I did with my shelter in place. To date, I have over. And believe it or not, I'm glad I didn't tell you 400, Scott, because 300 looked so much better in your materials. We have over 400 myths and misrepresentations. I'm not counting ones that happen two or three times. 1. I have 400 separate and distinct misrepresentations. Now, this is a gross violation of the public trust. You have been deceived by people who don't know what FICO and lenders are doing. And I'm not Taking it anymore. I'm not just going to make my clients fundable. No. I'm on on the war path. And if you guys follow my Instagram, my TikTok, you're going to be seeing this year. I'm literally taking down people who say they know what they're talking about, and I'm going to call them out because it is not okay because we have been lied to. And guys, it's not okay. It's not okay. All right, so this is kind of the look and feel of our next campaign, you guys. To everybody who's here, we're going to send you out a notice to be able to join this and be able to keep track of all 300 of these myth. All right, now the next one is this minefield. We have to harness and leverage the unstoppable forces we're facing. What do I mean by that? If you've seen presentation before, there are two unstoppable forces that are going to happen. Think of them as waves that we either surf them or we will be drowned by them. They're happening whether or not we do anything about it. Right? The first is that lenders make the most money when they lend. So this was the conclusion. A news cycle came out where Wells Fargo, bank of America, Citigroup and JPMorgan Chase continue to post multibillion dollar profits annually. So if they have all this money to lend, why aren't you getting approved for unsecured bank loans and lines of credit? What's going on? Well, as I've said in the previously, you've been lied to about how to get approved. And because of these lies, lenders, there is an inadequate pool of qualified borrowers. That is changing for me this year in our campaign. This is changing for you tonight. Borrower education, because you don't know where these landmines are. Many times that you go in, or at least for the dozen who raised their hand, you go into a bank, you're looking for funds and they deny you. That is over as a result of what you're going to be learning tonight and moving forward. Okay? There are not enough qualified borrowers because lenders only make money when they lend. Borrowers who are capable of meeting tighter lending guidelines, they're getting more and higher approvals. Think of it this way. Let's say this is the funding target, right? Loan approvals are smaller because they're in the outer rings. Anything out of the outer rings, you get a 5,000 approval instead of a 50,000, let's just say. Right? But if you optimize your credit to meet lender guidelines, you are able to take down approvals in any economy. So if we don't meet the approvals, let's say, like right now, they've shrunk the target, Those very same dollars that we were getting approved, even though they were amounts, we're not getting them now. But if you optimize to meet those guidelines, then the target is smaller. But you have optimized your profile to hit those guidelines. Tell me you guys are getting this. Am I making sense? Tell me yes. Thumbs up something. Am I making sense? Are you getting what I'm saying? Anybody? David, Donald, Robert, Jerry, Steven, John, rj. Great. Okay. Big target, low approval amount. Inside target, high approval amounts. When it goes from here to there, we still get approved, right? That's what we call fundability. Fundability is the ability to be approved at any time, in any circumstances because we've built a relationship with a lender who says yes to us. That happens in two ways. One, we become the perfect borrower, that ideal bank customer. And our profile, our credit profile, our borrower profile is smoking. But then when they give us a credit card, a credit line, whatever loan product we get, we treat it well so that in their underwriting guidelines, we're the best customer they have and they give us more approvals. Raise your hand, give me a yes. If this makes sense, we build relationships. There we go. Donald and Iris and Jerry and Susan. But how do you get approved? Susan? Absolutely. We're only 15 minutes in, 20 minutes in. Okay, so first thing is, you've got to learn the insider secrets to get fundable. That means unstoppable force number two. Unstoppable force number two again. This is happening whether we do it or not. Karen, this goes to your question. Oh, sorry, Susan, this goes to your point. So the next force is technology. Now, we talked about getting approved in 30 seconds, right? No human being looked at that application. That means technology was evaluating the data points that were inside of your application. They pinged all the databases and they came back saying, we're going to approve you. How much you got approved for was based on your score? Remember that how we started out this evening? We'll get more into that. So, Ben, how many of you raise your hand? How many of you have received an email or a letter from your bank or credit card issuer saying, hey, congratulations, we're raising your credit limit? No inquiry, no income verification, no financials, nothing. Free money. Anybody get that letter? Well done, you guys. Hell, yeah. Thank you. Thank you, that's free money because you hit the fundable guidelines. Right? Elaine and Steven and talk with Scott Carson and Robert and R.J. donald. Yes, you guys. So this is what we're talking about. Unstoppable force is that everything is going. I guarantee you over the course of the next two to three years, we are going to be moving towards mortgages that are automatically underwritten. It's coming. I talked to fico. It's coming. Everybody's planning on it. They've even developed an entire new Software version called 10T. FICO, 10T to track and move us towards even mortgage automatic underwriting. Right. Got letter. Need 200K. Let's keep talking. So this technology is the wave of the future. And how did I get to know what these funding criteria are? Because I was introduced to FICO and invited back to what's called FICO World. FICO World is. Think of it as the Mount Olympus for you Greek mythology types, aficionados, it's the Mount Olympus of the credit and funding gods. Everybody comes here and talks about underwriting criteria, et cetera. Now, I was the only borrower representative with several thousand people in attendance, lender teams from all over the world, and I was the only borrower rep. I was introduced to this gentleman who is the CEO and Mr. Lansing, Will Lansing. I spent some time with him and he asked me about my borrower education program. And he goes, I help people get fundable. And he's like, well, let me have you talk to my borrower. I mean, my score development team and I met with the personal score and the business score development teams so that they could teach me what it means to be fundable so that they're lenders. Remember, FICO's clients are lenders so that their lenders would accept our applications and approve us. Right? Well, as a result of that, I still have to this day. I've been to three FICO worlds, and in May, I'm going to my four. I have a FICO liaison that I speak with on the regular, usually around two times a month. And everything that I do, it's all about having a seat at the table, right? I mean, with Scott, you guys are here because you get the latest and best intel in the note marketplace, right? Real estate investing extraordinaire. So here's the question for you. If I have a seat at the table, then my tribe, anybody who loves fundability, you get a tab a seat at that table as well. How many of you get the power and how the potential of having a seat at The FICO and lender underwriting table. Anybody get why that might be important to you? Anyway, yes. Thank you, Donald and Jerry. And see you in May. Thank you, Elaine. Yes, Robert, absolutely. These are. By staying updated with these guys, we know what lenders are doing on the regular. Now, I've been doing this a very long time. Over the last 25 years, I discovered that most real estate and business entrepreneurs believe you have to have full documentation. That is no longer true if you know how to qualify for automatic approvals. Many of us believe that we don't have any control over our funding approvals. But let's do the math right now. In fact, I'm going to bring this out. We're going off of book a little bit tonight. And Scott has never seen this before except at the bootcamp. So can you see me okay? Sky, am I in frame?
Looking good. Yeah.
Let me stop sharing so that you can get a bigger picture. Okay, so first of all, lenders gave all of their approval authority to software. They put, wrote algorithms, developed everything. So lenders empowered software, we call it underwriting software, with their approval authority. That's why those of you filled it out and it literally came back approved. No human being looked at it. The lender didn't look at it. The software did. Everybody with me. Now, the software then has rules. It's looking at certain borrower behaviors. We'll be talking about those in a minute. They're putting up checkboxes. Checkbox, checkbox, checkbox. The software says, does he have that? Does he have that? Does he have that? Right? Does he have that? So if you know what is in here, if you know what the software is looking for, by a show of hands, or type it in the chat. If you know what the lender is looking for, what the software is looking for, you don't have to talk to a human being. If you know what the approval criteria is, who is really and actually in charge of your funding approvals? Type it in there. Who's in charge? Yes, R.J. absolutely. Me. Me. The software is not in charge of the approval authority. If you know how to check these boxes, you're in charge. It's just rubber stamping you. Right? So a great comment, Robert, but if I know I have power over this, right. I'm going to share again. And here we go. All right. So most of us believe that we have no control over our funding approvals and that we're subject to the lender whim. There's no whim. You guys back here, that's check Check, check, check, check. So we know what it takes to be fundable. Now, you've also been lied to about what business credit is, what it means, you know, and we're not talking about. Guys, I'm not talking about business credit where you get a Grainger credit card and a Uline account. I'm talking about that tens of thousands, 50 to 100,000 in business credit cards. Credit lines. Business credit lines have business loans that do not report to your personal profile. How many would like type recall? How many would you like to have 50 to $100,000 in business credit from 2, 3, 5 or more bank? Anybody there? We got Iris and Donald. Anybody else? Great, thank you. Cynthia and Elaine and Robert and rj. So it's not rocket science, but I want us to do the math together so that we revisit what we're talking about. All right? Now, as a result of everything that I've been doing, you gu. I discovered the key to unlocking this business funding. And it doesn't matter the what it is, you guys, I discovered it the hard way. I've been doing this for zillion years. And I have paid the price so that you don't have to. You get to do it the easy way, right? Because you are even here at this training tonight. You get to cheat and do it the easy way. Now, I only have so much time, so there'll be an opportunity in a few minutes to be able to spend more time with me learning all of the details about this. But. But we're going to follow the path to these approvals. Now, as a result of everything that I learned, I built an entire step by step funding formula that I would love to share with you guys. We'll talk about that in a minute. That triggers automatic underwriting and automatic limit increases without collateral, tax returns or financials. You guys have already had experience in getting automatic approvals and automatic limit increases without collateral or tax returns or financials. All right? And it works for any borrower. Some of you may have seen this before. It bears repeating. It's magical. Magical, magical. Our Regular approvals are 20,000 that grow to 150,000 that grow to 100. Some even get $100,000 out of the gate, just like I shared with you. This is Teresa. And if you haven't seen this before, pay close attention because this was an amazing win for a woman who worked with us for only 11 months.
I did what you said to do just a couple of things and my score went up 30 points right away. And so within six months. My score went up over 100, and I was already in the 700. So my score's nearly perfect now. And they all line up. And I was able to achieve a $500,000 unsecured line of credit my first time out of the gate with my first bank. So that really put me in a position to change the game that I'm executing to change my retirement strategy. And in fact, I actually used the line of credit recently for the first time. So it put me into a million dollar asset that I would not have been able to secure. And in fact, the bank, I was putting all the documentation together, and they called me and said, okay, we're done. And I said, don't you want the paperwork? And they said, no, your credit score is fine. In fact, it's unusually fine. So we're just going to give it to you. We don't need any more paper. And it'll be an unsecured line of credit. So $500,000 later.
$500,000, you guys. And by the way, she's a note buyer. Her whole business is notes. That asset that she's talking about, a million dollar asset. We've also had $580,000 approvals, plus 90 in other miscellaneous lines of credit from tier one banks. So this is not atypical. We just have to build your promo. Remember, I said, I want you to know there is a clear path for you from wherever you are. There's a clear path through these minefields in order to get fundable. So let's take a look at. I see you, Elaine, and you're 200,000. I see you. It is not possible. It is probable, given how we shape your personal profile. Also, Iris said, but I'm working on my personal credit. I'm glad, because business credit is based on your personal credit. More on that in a moment. All right, so I got three myths for you tonight. And their breakthrough through Insider Secrets. You guys ready for it? Hands ready? Ready. Let's do this. First and foremost, this is going to blow your mind. The myth is that your checking overdraft account is a good thing. Don't raise your hands. I don't want to raise your hands. How many of you have an overdraft account? Number one. And how many of you use it? This may break your heart, but here's the insider secret. Your overdraft account is quietly killing you and your checking account, both personal and business. Your checking out is the key to your business credit approval success. Ready to go. Let's do this. I'm going to talk it out right now. So first of all, let's build an account. I'm going to stop sharing. Everybody can see me, right? Sweet sauce. So let's go to the next page. So let's build a checking account. Here we go. Here's a checking account. And down here we have your overdraft account. And most overdraft accounts are usually 500 to $1,000. Everybody with me? So I'm going to need you guys to raise your hands. I'm standing a little further away, but when I ask you questions, just give me a hand raise. All right, so let's say that this is zero, and let's say that this is 10,000 just the top of your checking account. Do raise your hand on this one. You guys can't see hand raises. I can do. Raise your hand. How many of you got a phone free overdraft protection account? When you open your checking account, show me hands. There we go. I'm not going to name names, but we got 1, 2, 3, 4. Right? Came with us free now. And here's where the myth comes in. We think, oh, that's awesome. Thank you very much. That's so sweet of you. Not true. This is where lenders are looking for your borrower behaviors. We'll keep mentioning that throughout tonight. Borrower behaviors. It doesn't matter if your personal credit card is backstopp it a savings account or their card. It does not matter. What they're looking for, you guys, is to see how you treat your money. So let's say you have $1,000 in here, okay? And your check, your latest flip, you sell your notes, whatever you're doing, anytime you go through, I call it punch through zero. Anytime you punch through zero, the lender over here is like, wtf, right? Anytime you punch through zero, you are not being a good steward of your money and lender software. Remember we talked about lender underwriting software? This is why you get automatic limit increases. The underwriting software says aus. Automatic underwriting software. The AUS says they are managing their money poorly, so they are unlikely to approve you for a credit line, credit card, or a biz alone because of how you are treating your money. Tell me you guys understand what I'm saying. Tell me you understand. Raise your hand. Tell me. Yes. Are you guys. Yes. Elaine. Oh, yes. We got John and Donald and Cynthia, Jerry, Steven and Elaine. Perfect, you guys. This is the kiss of death. And now most of us think, oh, but I saved $35 because they had a credit line. Pay it. That is not the benefit here. You do not want to ever use this, because guess what happens? Here's the worst of the worst. Not only do you pollute the lender relationship, but this balance gets reported to the credit bureaus. Every credit bureau has these coded. They're only 5 to 100 to $1,000. Any kind of sophistication only has a $500 credit card, unless you're building and it's secured or something like that. Most of us have more than this. Underwriting software looks at your profile, sees a balance here, and says, no bueno. I don't like this borrower. And that right there may be even one of the landmines that you step on that we didn't even know. Tell me you guys are getting this. Tell me you guys are getting this. You with me? All right, so it's you and me, Scott. Oh, there we go. Jerry and Donald and Cynthia and John and RJ awesome. The myth is that thank you for the overdraft account. This is awesome. Thank you. Oh, I'm gotta reshare now. All right. There we go. So this is the myth. Thank you. This is why I have a producer. Thank you, Scott. This is the myth, and this is the insider secret, and we want to make sure that we don't do this. You guys ready for number two? Myth number two. Here we go. All credit cards build good credit. Not true. First of all, the insider secret is that some credit cards are actually ruining your financial reputation, and your credit cards may be causing your funding approvals to crash and burn, and you don't even know it. These are the landmine that we are trying to protect ourselves from. Now, we don't have time tonight to go through all the tiers. I'm fast Forwarding to tier four. This is the bastard stepchild tier. Notice in that 100% column. Elon Merrick Credit One Synchrony, First Premier Bank. Every one of those, you guys, every one of them is a tier four. They're a subprime lender. I call them predatory lenders because anybody who does a bankruptcy gets the late pay any kind of delinquency on their credit report collections. You end up. They buy those lists from the credit bureaus and market to you because they want to give you a credit card. Here's the problem. Look at it as we go down. Toyota Motor Credit Corporation. This isn't the financing for an automobile. These are revolving accounts. Revolving accounts, credit cards, credit lines. Toyota Motor Corporation. Let's say Honda Financial. You want to get an atv? How many of you gotten an ATV credit line. So when you pay it off, you have the opportunity to buy a new one that's a finance company. Okay? Honda Financial Services. Anything that has the word financial in it is tier 4. These are no Bueno. Tier 4 cards equal junk cards, which equal consumer financed accounts. Later you're going to have an opportunity to learn all about this and how FICO score grades it and how lender underwriting software grades it. For right now, I'm telling you that if there is a slash between two different sets of initials or names, it is 95% sure that it is a consumer finance account. In this case, it stands for GE Money Bank Underwriting or Financing. J.C. penney's paper. Am I making sense? Am I making sense? There you go. There you go, Scott. If there's a slash, it's slashing your credit. No joke. So consumer finance accounts, fico. I learned this when I met with fico. FICO downgrades your fundability. It will increase your interest rates. It will lower your approvals. If you have consumer finance accounts, it's called a negative indicator. It's not like a delinquency or derogatory, but it's literally saying, watch out for these people. Watch out. And so tier 4 accounts equal junk cards and they drag down your fundability. And it is evidence that you are a consumer. And if you are a consumer, you guys, we are out of the realm of being. How do we say it? A professional borrower, a strategic borrower. Business lenders want people who know how to use their money to make money. Right? Does that make sense? Personal credit isn't that way. Personal credit is. Oh, get a retail account. Oh, I'm going to buy some Home Depot shovels. Oh, I'm going to have a credit card where I have rewards and points. Oh, that's all consumer business. They're looking for strategic borrowers who know how to make money with their money. Tell me you guys understand what I'm saying. Raise your hand. Tell me yes, if you're getting this. We got Jerry and Robert and Donald and Elaine and Jerry and Iris and yeah, you guys. Business lenders don't want to lend to a consumer because you will consume the money because that's what we do as consumers. They want you to leverage money to make money. That's what they're in the business for. All right, finally, credit card myth number three. You can't lose with free flights and free nights. Rewards. We all love our free flights and our free nights. We love points. We love rebates the problem is those credit card rewards could cost you $100,000 or more. Travel and reward hopping can ruin your future fundability. Why? Let's take a look. Let's go back here. I'm going to unsecure or I'm going to. All right, let's go back here. How we doing, guys? We liking what we're doing? We liking this. All right, let's take a look. So I'll tell you a story of Sherry. Sherry, delightful woman. And she was a real estate investor. She watched a presentation just like this, but it was a live bootcamp. And she came up to me and she was, Meryl, I love what you're doing. I want to be your client, but I do not want to give up. I love travel hacking. I love flying for free around the country, around the world. It's awesome. It's amazing. All right, now I'd ask you guys to raise your hands if you like doing that, but we don't want to ask that yet because we don't know all the things that's happening behind the scenes, behind our back. So I asked her, I said, okay, so tell me the most you've ever saved in one year. The most you've ever saved. Travel hacking. Let's make a little graph here. So she told me, she's like, well, it was 13,500. All right, so let's do 13,513, 500. Now that is hella lot of savings of not paying for flights. She and her family went to Cabo, an all inclusive resort for 10 days. Flights, food, everything was paid for by her point and her miles. Cool, right? So then I said, this is awesome. Congratulations. All right, so if you had $100,000 credit line where you could write a check and do a deal, flip property, buy notes, sell notes, whatever it is you do. I'm going to ask you guys to answer this in the chat. If you had just 100,000, who said you wanted 200? Elaine wanted 200. Let's just lowball this. How much money could you guys make in a year if you had $100,000? Credit line, what could be your turn on that credit line and how many times? So type it in there. Type it in there. Jerry says 150k. Who else? How much could you turn? 120k. 120k, who else? Anybody else? Two times John's going to hit two oh two X. So that's 200k. Who else? Anybody? So we got one hundred and fifty two times and one hundred and twenty. So do you guys see? We'll talk more details in just a second. But when she saw this, just like you guys are seeing it right now, when she said it's so funny, it was like she got these mad dopamine hits. By being able to save all this money, but the opportunity cost is out of control. Even if you made 26k, 27k, because there's $13,500 if you 27k. Do you really want a rewards points? What? This isn't 200,000, 300,000. This isn't Theresa with 500k or 580k for Derek and Aisha. We're low balling this so it can come at a significant price. Because what happens is to do this, you have to open up new accounts. Let's put them in here. You have to open new accounts regularly. She was opening them up, two or three accounts per year and harvesting all the points. She would keep them open a year. So she'd open it, keep it open a year and close it. This kills what's called your average age. And it shows the opening and closing, the opening and closing. Oh, and then you know that in the middle of this, to get these points, Points you also have to spend 3,000 to 5,000, 7,000 in 90 days. So all of the borrower behaviors to get these points is exactly opposite the borrower behaviors to get the hundred thousand dollars credit line. Tell me you guys are getting this. Are you with me? Boom.
Yeah, baby.
Robert and Elaine, Iris, Jerry, Cynthia T. Miller, R.J. donald. Guys, does this make sense? So we have to stop the madness. We have to stop sacrificing this in order to get this. And they set up those rewards and those accounts, they gamify it so that we get dopamine hit. Well, how much dopamine are you going to get by doing these? You know what I told you about the client. End of last week, I interviewed him. Two $50,000 approvals, two $50,000 approvals to the first two banks. And he was like, this is crazy. And he was so excited because he had his first hundred grand and now we're working with two more banks with him. All right, so ask the questions in the Q and A because I wanted to take those questions. You guys ask the questions in the Q and A. Am I sharing right now? Okay. All right, here we go. Let's go back and share. All right, so. So what we're doing right now then is so how many of this type. Yes, raise your hands. How many of you think this is Pretty exciting. Anybody like to know like 35 more of these? Anybody? And please ask your questions in the chat. You guys, you've got some great questions. Put them in the Q and A so we can make sure we address them. How many feel like you've been drinking out of a fire hose where it's just rapid fire? Rapid fire. Anybody? Right? So here we go. I would love to share with you. Some of you have seen it, some of you are boot camp graduates. But we are holding a boot camp, a two day boot camp. Sixteen hours on the 28th and 29th, 9am to 5pm Mountain time. So that's 11 to 7 on East Coast, 8am to 4pm on the west coast. We are where we look at dozens of the challenges that borrowers It's a minefield review. We go through the minefields, we go through the see that Just like we've done today. We go through what the problems are that are keeping you from getting funded. There are over 30 strategies targeted to make you fundable. It works for a new real estate noted investors, experienced real estate. Doesn't matter where you are. If you think you have bad credit, if you think you have good or even if you think you have great credit, you might think you have a fundable business. You may not. The idea is we need to stop having you lose credit limits, have your accounts closed. We need to have deals stop slipping through your fingers, stop the stress. How would you guys like to be able to walk into a bank and already know you're approved because you hit those checkboxes that we talked about, Right? Stop paying high interest rates for private or hard money and be your own credit partner, your own financial institution. And and there's some amazing strategies that we go through in this bootcamp. You're going to learn how to establish and protect your borrower identity and help build trust. Remember we talked about building relationship with lenders, what the borrower behaviors are. We're going to talk about all of the borrower behaviors, every one of them and how to use those to trigger automatic approvals, how to set up your accounts and change your account so that it builds lender confidence and how to little known debt shifting strategies. Guess what? I love rewards and point but guess where I use them. I get business credit instruments that give rewards and points, not on my personal profile. On the second day we're going to be talking about how to avoid the mistakes that kill your funding approvals. What are real business credit offers? You're not going to believe there's so much misinformation out there. That's why I'm doing this entire campaign on these myths. We're going to be talking about business codes that are literally denying you. You don't even know. These business codes are denying you credit and they're being done behind your back. And just like I shared you with the guy who just got approved last week, how to turn your first hundred grand into a million dollars through leveraging these bank relationships, here's just a quick thing. We talk about your revolving account portfolio, your installment loan portfolio, or your 24 month look back period, utilization history, inquiries, derogatories, and your identity. These are all the things that we talk about in this bootcamp. We even have worksheets where you will be able to compare you against this. How many of you would like to literally see this list and see how you're doing? Anybody? Anybody like to get that list when you sign up for the boot camp? Now, we give you a literal, what we call a fundability index. It compares you right now against lender criteria and it grades it out according to what FICO and lenders have given me to show you where you are. It's just a starting point to know how to build from there. And that's what we do during the bootcamp. We weaponize your business fundability. And even at the end of the boot camp, with the documentation you have, I can forecast your funding timetable. 100 grand, a million grand, whatever it is that you like. So if you were to go to my website and buy each one of these modules separately, it's worth $3,994. The silver boot camp pass is $97. This is the borrower education price. I want you to know what you are missing, period. In fact, she's already dropped in the chat. The get fundable bootcamp. The link I'm telling you, just go read the reviews. You are going to see your peers whose minds have been blown and how operationally competent they become as a result of this education. Now, I'm going to sweeten the deal, right? I'm going to make it risk free. Here's what I mean. If you go through the first day and you are not raving about how awesome it is, I will give you 100% of your ticket price back. 100% of your money back. Now, you don't get to go to the second day. But if you are not thrilled with the results of what you learned, the actual strategies we go through, it's not your jam or it didn't make sense or you are not overwhelmed by thrill. I'll give your money back. Is that a deal? Is that a deal, guys? Does that work for you guys? All right, so really all you have, is it worth gambling one day to see how close you are right now to getting unsecured business loans, lines and lines of credit so you can do more deals? Now you got gobs and gobs and gobs and gobs and gobs and gobs. I took these from the testimonials that are on getfundable bootcamp.com just read the reviews. I'm here to help with any questions. What are you experiences? What situations can I help with? And let me tell you what they are. Silver is a one time viewing. This is live streaming. This is not a recording. This is live streaming where after every one of the 30 plus strategies we stop and do Q and A just like we're going to do here in a moment. A Q and A on every single strategy. Live with me. Silver is a one time viewing. Gold are recordings and the 29amonth gives you access to future boot camps. And I meet twice a week with my tribe on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 4pm Mountain that 29 keeps you right here in the fold and and asking any question you want. Post bootcamp, I'll answer your fundability questions so you can continue going down the fundability path. The 1997. That is a two hour strategy session with me. This is not coaching. This is a blueprint of your current fundability. We take all of your documentation and we set up an operational blueprint. Okay. You can upgrade from silver to gold before. Before the boot camp, but you're not going to get this price again. And coaching session has to be done before the bootcamp because I have to set up my schedule. A lot of people take advantage of it and I want to make sure that I schedule it ahead of time. You cannot upgrade at the boot camp. So I'm all yours. Let's ask some questions. Shall I leave this up?
Yeah, leave it up there. We can moderate the questions here for you and go from there. First of all, great stuff. Kudos. Steph's been listening here and I've been listening like, okay, we're okay. I'm teaching a class that weekend. But Steph's taking your class downstairs at the same time because it's so valuable.
And you guys are already members of the tribe. So she gets to come back. Yeah. It's all included in your.
Exactly. So another thing, I just want to bring this up. The sic Codes, the company codes. We use that today with our bank on opening up. And they are trying to steer us towards specific SIC codes, but we're like, no, it's this specifically because we're not doing that. Do not try to steer us towards that. Now, now we do have a question. And Steph brought this up because she's such a big pet advocate. When you have a sick animal or you go into the dentist because you got a bad tooth, they'll often, if you don't have the full amount, they'll try to qualify you for. Was it synchronicity or something like that?
Yeah, CareCredit, which is a garbage junk credit line.
Right. So if you've been approved for that, should you cancel it or leave it open? If you've never used it.
Okay, so that was a question over here. If it's less than six months old, if you've never used it and it's less than six months old, definitely. But if it's more than six months old and you've used it, that's a minefield. We need to walk through that together. So I would tell somebody who knows what they're saying, like, come to the boot camp and let's kind of suss out your particular situation. That makes sense for you guys. Talk to your advisors.
Yeah, exactly. Good stuff there. All right, so we got a couple more questions here from folks. Susan asked a question. This goes back a little bit, but she asked, what if you don't have two years of residency or two years of being in business?
Okay, great question. So, Susan, it's all about building business relationships. So if you don't have two years, you can still get high value business credit cards that don't report to your personal. Here's a perfect example. We'll go over more of these in the bootcamp. But capital one, business part cards, they all report to your personal. So every time you're being a good businessman or businesswoman, you use the card. It raises your utilization and lowers your fundability and your points. That is a horrible, horrible business card because it's not even a business card. It's masquerade. It's a wolf in sheep's clothing masquerading around as business credit. But it harms your personal profile. So we do want so you can get business credit while you're building the relationship so that when you hit that two year mark, you can go for credit lines or business loans. And we have an entire process. You're going to learn at the Bootcamp how to build the relationship so that you're ready when your business age appropriate.
Because that falls in line with what Jerry just asked. Is it possible to get business credit that is not a credit card?
Well, at two years, absolutely. But I'm going to tell you right now, nobody, there's not a lender out there that if you walk into the bank and say, hey, I'm brand new, can I get a hundred thousand dollar business line of credit? The answer is no. Because they want to know how you treat your money. They want to know how you treat their money via credit card. Then they'll give you the credit lines or the loan. So that business credit, this is not going to happen in the next 90 days. Do not come to the boot camp if you do not have the long game. When I say long game, I'm 6 12, 18 months. I don't know if you got crap for credit. I don't know. What I'm teaching you tonight and at the boot camp is how to be fundable for the rest of your life. So if you've got the medium to long term game in play, you will die and think you went to heaven if you say, yeah, I'm not interested unless he can give me 100 grand in the next 90 days. That doesn't exist in business lending, guys.
Doesn'T it takes some time. I mean, and that's a big thing. And Jason, I'm a real estate investor, I show low to no profit. I get that. But you still, there's at some point you've got to do some things to show some profit.
Here's the thing. If you have low to no profit, here's what's amazing. Another thing that you guys are going to learn heavy details in the bootcamp. On the business side, lenders look at your top line, not your bottom line. So if you've got a decent top line and I can also show you how to use money in your account, not revenue. You can't count this as income, but. But you can build relationships with deposits if you do it the right way. If you hit these checkboxes, you can do it the right way. So you don't have to be a high revenue company yet to get business credit cards, credit lines and business loan.
Yeah, David asked a question. So should we buy all consumer goods in cash only and run nothing during that?
Buy those with tier one, tier two credit cards. Right. Use other credit cards to buy that. I'm saying don't get I love Home Depot or Lowe's commercial account. Not on your personal profile. It's junk on your personal profile. It's amazing. As a business account, I have a client $250,000 on his Home Depot credit line and he uses 90% of it every quarter. But you gotta know these rules and.
This game and that's an important thing too is using. Here's a little thing you may not know about banking. If you using your debit card. Debit card's not going to build any type of credit for you. If you use your debit card versus your credit card and you have identity theft and they steal the money off your debit card, the bank can take up to seven days to give you their money back even if they won't give it back in some cases. Whereas a credit card, they'll refund that money back within 24 hours because it's not, it's their money that they'll deal a lot. That takes a higher tier approach to correct taking things out. So something to keep in mind, there's Iris asked, what does my FICO have to be to get lines of credit?
Okay, what did I say? Your score does not matter in the approval, Iris doesn't matter. Your borrower behaviors matter. The credit score is used after you are approved to determine how much they're going to give you and what your interest rate is going to be. That is the biggest myth out there. Please do not come to me and say hey, I got an 800 plus credit score. I don't care. Where's your million dollars that are supposed to. What the beliefs believe out there is that if you have a high credit score you can get credit. That's not true. An 800. An 850 credit score does not get you business lines of credit unless you have the borrowed behaviors to back it up. So you're going to learn very quickly, Iris, that we have been fed a load of BS for our whole financial lives and you're going to learn the truth at the boot camp. Well, do you know anything about tonight?
Yeah, exactly. She asked questions. Does you know how's this different from a company like Funding Grow? I've never heard of Funding Fund and.
Grow gets you personal credit. They actually build. They create a separate entity. They make a sole proprietorship. I know these guys upside down and backwards and I have a lot of clients who come to me limping from being damaged from the landmines that these guys throw up. Fund and Grow gets you personal credit to use for your business. See the subtlety of the language? They get you personal credit and they'll get you a capital One spark card, no problem. Which reports to your personal. So every time you use it, you ruin your personal profile with utilizations. Right. True business credit that doesn't report to your profile. You get to keep balances that don't ruin your personal fundability. Tell me you guys understand what I'm saying. Yeah, that makes sense. That if you have a true business card that doesn't report, then you get to keep balances. Over here, you keep balances on your personal. How many of you have don't raise your hand. How many of you have been using your personal credit cards to fix, flip, buy notes, do all kinds of stuff and your score just tanks and then it goes back up. And it tanks and it goes back up. No bueno. That is not relationship building skills. And nobody wants to lend you you serious money like $100,000 business lines of credit. So fund and grow, get you these other types of accounts. They also don't get you business loans and business lines of credit. They have nothing to do with that because they're in for the short term. Yeah, let me get you 70 to 80, $100,000 in credit cards. Using a credit card is not going to help you write a check and do a deal. So that's what I specialize in, in business loans and lines of credit. We get business credit cards to help build the relationship so that they want to give you more money.
That falls in line with what Jesse asked. He asked, do you need to have a corporation or LLC to entity versus or dba? And a DBA is not a business. DBA is running off your personal.
That's just a marketing name that you use in the marketplace. An LLC can be fundable and an inc. What you're calling a corporation, an inc can also be. But we have to make them fundable to fit lender guidelines. We got to fit these boxes, guys. It's easy, but you just got to do it.
Cynthia asked a question. Which business credit cards do we need? If you're just doing this late there, Cynthia?
Yeah, Business credit cards. If they don't report to your personal profile in the bootcamp, I'm going to teach you all the questions to ask the customer service reps so that you can vet bank to see whether or not they report to your personal. Asking them there's a formula for asking because they don't always know or they don't care to tell you the truth. So there's the right people to ask and the right way to ask the.
Question that falls in line with what Susan asked. She Goes, what if you have no mortgage on your condo? How do you get a first lien line of credit for 400k? And that's. Yeah, I mean that would be nice, but there's some things you need to do and have in play season for you to be able to qualify for.
Absolutely. There are ways to do that. And heloc, my favorite credit instrument in the universe is a first position. Heloc. Love those.
Exactly. Elaine says, okay, Elaine, why do I.
Keep saying Wells Fargo? Wells Fargo.
Probably who she bangs with. It seems like I'm like I'm at.
Wells Fargo and I'm asking a question.
She goes, what do I do? So that my business line, I just have my business ein number.
Okay, great question. Since 2008, there's no such things as non personally guaranteed credit cards. Credit cards as in cash cards. If you want a Grainger account or Uline account, they do those without your was only on your ein. It is complete mythology. Bs. There's no cash credit cards, no credit lines in the market today and no business loans under 1 million that you do not personally guarantee. Over a million full doc asset based. Sure, there's plenty of those. But to get $100,000, 2, 3, $400,000 in business lines of credit, you will be on the line for it. There is no such thing as cash credit lines, credit loans and credit cards for business that don't require your personal guarantee. Anybody who says so is lying. And I invite you to email me and CC them. Just watch the fireworks.
Yeah. Can you go over what's included with a Platinum one more time?
Platinum is a up to 2 hour review of your taking the documents from the boot camp. You have to do the documents, so I will take your money. If you don't do the documents. You don't get to sit down with me because I need the intel. You fill out the documents in the boot camp. We look at your fundability index, we look at your revolving accounts portfolio and your entity audit. And then we take a look at what your end game is. What are your goals, where you are, and we build a blueprint to get you there. Now there is also coaching and daily coaching and all kinds of other stuff, but I don't even talk about that until. Except unless you've been to the bootcamp, I don't even discuss it because I don't know what you need and I don't know where you are. So why talk about buying a car if you actually need to fly and you need an airplane? See what I'm Saying, but that's what's in the platinum is this. It is not coaching. It is a one time meeting where we build a blueprint so that you can implement it based on everything you've got from the boot camp.
Iris asked, what tier is NAV for business?
Oh, Nav. Nav is a business provider. NAV is the business equivalent of credit karma. It is not a tier, it is not a lender. It is a brokerage firm for referring you to business accounts. Now here's the problem, Iris. Be very, very careful. NAV will refer you to people or lenders who report to your personal profile. And now we're back to square one and we have a junky, unfundable profile that looks like that we don't know what we're doing. And I'm assuming you guys want to know what you're doing and show lenders that you are a strategic borrower and that you deserve to make money with their money. Is that true? Is that true? Oh, yes, Elaine. So this was in the thing. So correct. The personal guarantee is there, but you have to vet a bank to see if their credit line or their credit cards or anything else reports to personal. I will show you exactly how to vet those banks. But yet yes, you can, you can have them. But I only deal in business credit the reports to business only. Never. Never. You will never see me give you a lender who reports to personal. Never. It'll never happen. Because the personal profile.
Yeah, she's like, I was told to get nav by my credit repair person. I am paying. Well, that's one of the myths.
Well there, yeah, NAV is you can get business credit reports, quasi business credit reports from Nav. If you're paying 53 bucks a month, then that means that you are subscribing to business credit reports. And it's junkie. Here's a freebie. If you guys want real intel on your credit score and your credit report, go to myfico.com it is the only place that offers all 28 borrower scores for your personal profile. 28 FICO scores. I don't go anywhere else. I won't tell you anywhere else. And when you subscribe, you're going to be told to get one of those credit reports because that's how we're going to take it down and see how fundable you are is what those borrower behaviors are reporting to your profile. And we're off to the races.
That was one of the most eye opening experiences, is doing that because it showed me I had 28 addresses that were showing up on my credit profile that was damaging. My credit was all over the place. Because you buy and move. I bought and sold a lot and moved a lot. Yeah, yeah. Plus different aliases that boosted them. Yeah. It's such a valuable eye opening experience. Day one, guys. Seriously, it's well worth it. It's one of the two classes besides our stuff, not just recommend. We demand you to take this if you really want to be a smart and educated individual. This is the knowledge, this is the information. Somebody who started Lexington Law Firm, 30 year track record and passionate. Like we said, he is the credit messiah to help you see through all the smoke screens, the tricks, the kick in the ass that a lot of these companies are doing to get you all the bs.
It's wicked ugly out there, you guys. And I put in the time so you don't have to. If I could change my thing. Those 26 books, read every one of them, annotated them for what is true and what is misrepresentation or complete, complete lie. So I invite you guys to come.
Elaine, take the class. Elaine.
Yeah, Elaine, take the class.
Take the class. You've asked great questions. It's better for you just to take the class because you're asking specific individuals schedule questions. It's time just to pick up the phone, be able to add, get fundable as a valued vendor for you guys.
Yeah, Elaine. And if you're part of our tribe, come on Tuesday and Thursday and join us. And let's keep going.
Exactly.
Yep, yep, yep. So get back on board. Come to the bootcamp again. It is radically different than it was when you went last time, Elaine. So love to have you there.
Looking forward to it.
Thank you, Meryl.

We are Sparta.
Yes, Sparta. Exactly. So you've been a part of them. You can go to bootcampgetfunnel.com sky will get you back in there if you're part of the monthly thing there for us.
Absolutely. And Scott is going to send me the emails when we finish because he put the 300 up there. The ebook is not complete. I'm going to provide the ebook for free for everybody who is in attendance tonight. So thank you, Scott, for doing that. We'll get all 300 of those out there. Now remember, remember, there are no answers. It's just watch out for all of this misinformation. And then if you're part of the tribe, Tuesdays and Thursdays you can come and suss it all out. Let's figure it out together.
Exactly. And then also, guys, you can check out the Get Fundable bootcamp as well. I'm sorry. The Get Fundable podcast as well out there, too, for you.
