An Indian man who was bullied as an overweight teen started lifting at 14 with no experience. He learned three lessons: consistency beats talent, modeling people like Christian Guzman accelerates progress, and daily workouts anchor your whole life. He argues fitness improves sleep, mood, business performance, and relationships.

Getting in shape actually changed my life. It has helped me become a millionaire, succeed in business, and basically get the body I always wanted. But before we understand how getting in shape and the gym actually changed my life for the better, I need to take you further back to where I'm coming from. I was always the chubby kid. Scratch that, I was actually fat. I was always picked on, always bullied by other people, other kids. That I was fat, obese, overweight, chubby, little Indian kid, and I had glasses. I didn't have anything going for me. And up until the age of 14, I looked bad, really, really fucking bad. And I think that you get to a point that you have two options. You either like go with it and embrace the fat persona, or you can actually change it and getting in shape. So I actually decided to go with the other route. Now, I was 14. I didn't play football, baseball, basketball, so I really didn't know how to get in shape. So what I basically did is I went to the only place that I know people go to and then get in shape after like 6 months, which is the gym. So when I was 14, I actually joined the gym and I went with my buddy. Now, I didn't know what the hell I was doing. Like, I didn't know how to pick up the weights, which sounds kind of stupid. I didn't know how to perform the exercises. I didn't know how to eat. I didn't know anything. But the only thing I knew is when people go to the gym and actually stay consistent with it, they get in shape. So I just stayed consistent. And that's the first lesson that the gym has taught me. If you can delay gratification and stay consistent without seeing results, you're going to succeed in anything in life. So I started losing weight. I start seeing results. But it wasn't enough. And to be honest, I didn't put enough effort. My diet was shit. I worked out really soft, which means not close to failure, which means my muscle didn't have a right stimulus in order to grow. But still, because of the added activity, I started losing weight. I started understanding that in order to actually become better at something, I need to consistently improve myself in that thing, learning about it, reading about it, watching videos about it. And actually, one of my biggest inspirations is Christian Guzman and Max Tuning, two fitness YouTubers who actually started businesses and became successful because of that. As funny as it might sound, these were the guys I spent most of my time with. I remember watching every single video they put out. The minute the video got uploaded and I saw it, I just immediately clicked. And by learning from them and other people, I I actually implemented it and became better, which leads me to number 2. If you don't know what the fuck you're doing, just mimic people who do, because success leaves clues behind it. And if someone actually has success in something you want, you can just mimic them or the actions they take, and you will have similar results. Now, the third point is the gym is actually— has been my anchor ever since I was 14 years old. I actually continued working out. You see, I never stop. Now, I know I'm not the biggest guy, I'm not the most lean guy, and I'm not the most shredded, but I actually love it, and it anchors me down. And what do I mean by anchors down? Well, essentially, think about it like this: when you have a routine or something that you do every single day, like a box that you need to tick, you can structure your day better around that thing. I know that I need to get good sleep, good diet, and I need to work out 5 days a week. Now, for some people that might seem a lot, but for some people that might seem like not a lot. For me, that's the ideal amount. I enjoy it and I stick with it. And if I don't work out, I actually get more mentally unstable, grumpy, my mood gets shitty. Now, the gym might not be your best friend, and I totally get it because a lot of people are like that. So my tip to you is you don't need to go to the gym every single fitness endeavor that will make you better mentally and physically is worthwhile. Even if it's Pilates, even if it's yoga, even if it's going to the gym or calisthenics. If you enjoy doing it, keep on doing it because the benefits you get, not only from looking better, but being mentally sharper, living longer, living happier, it is just worth it. So I'm telling you, if you want to get your money right, your relationships right, your family, right? Every single aspect of your life, you can get it better by getting in shape. At least that's what has happened for me, because once I got the gist of you improve by doing something over and over and over and over and over again, and part of the journey is not seeing the results, and once I understood it in the gym, I implemented it into every aspect of my life— business, investing, family, relationships, every single thing. So if you take one thing from this video, is either joining the gym and get in shape, or just pursue another fitness endeavor. Stay consistent and actually stick with it, and come back in 6 months and comment on this video how HIIT has transformed your life. Because I can promise you this, this is going to change your life as it has changed mine and countless other gym bros. If you like this video, subscribe to the channel and leave a meaningful comment because I actually read all of those and comment back.
