It's already January 7th and it's been 1 week since your New Year's resolution. You wanted to start that new business and take those risks and actually change your life. But here you are after watching 50 YouTube videos about the same topic, not knowing what to do, when to do it, how to do it. And I'm here to tell you it's probably not your fault. You see, your brain is fucked. The reason you're not able to achieve what you want to achieve is because of that. So how to unfuck your brain? Step 1: You are distracted. You see, focus is the ability to do one thing and one thing only and dedicate 100% of our attention to one thing. But the problem is we are distracted 24/7. Most of you probably scrolled down to the comment section or looked at the amount of views this video has already, right? And that's not your fault. Look, our minds are not focused. We have so many distractions 24/7 that compete on our attention, and if we're not focused, we are distracted. So how can you fix that? Look, the first step is actually removing the distractions you have in your life. Let's start with the biggest one— your phone. I don't have mine on, so here's what you need to do. You're not going to throw your phone because part of your life is on that, but what you're going to do is reduce the amount of time you spend on your phone. Right now, Pause this video after I finish the sentence, and what I want you to do is put a limit on your apps, especially your social media apps. Instagram, TikTok, WhatsApp, X, Facebook, whatever can distract you, you're going to put a limit on it. And if you're not serious about this, you're not going to change your life. So your phone, your life. Besides that, what I want you to do is put your phone on do not disturb mode and muted. Why is that? Well, you see, what happens when we get a notification? We immediately go and check what it is, and 9,999 times out of 10,000 times, it's not something important and it can wait. And most of the times, no one is going to die if you're not going to respond within 10 minutes. So what you're going to do is put your phone on mute so you won't be distracted. You see, when you remove distractions and reduce the amount of distraction you have, your ability to focus goes up. It's quite simple when you think about it. Now, in the beginning, it's going to be difficult for you. You're going to want to check up on your phone, and you must resist that urge. I'm telling you from the bottom of my heart, your life is going to become way, way better if you actually remove and reduce the amount of screen time, and especially social media. If you need Put your phone in another room. It's like a workout. The more you do it, the better you become at it. Step 2: Create a clear path. Look, you're not going to reach your destination if you don't know where you're going. Write down your goals and then break it down on how to achieve said goals. This removes all the guesswork and lets you focus on what needs to get done. Like, literally, old-fashioned style, take a pen, take a paper, write down your goals and write down how you're going to achieve them step by step, what needs to get done in order to achieve that goal. It's literally that simple. When you start doing that and you actually start doing the work that needs to get done and you have a map, you can enter flow state. Probably heard of this and actually managed to get there several times in your life. Flow state is essentially the feeling that you get when you do something and you do not pay attention to time. It's like playing a video game and then all of a sudden 5 hours pass by and you didn't even notice. It's that state of hyperfocus when you can actually do one thing and focus solely on that. And let me tell you, once you know what you need to do, you're going to do it, and the more likely you're going to enter flow state and nail it down. And step number 3, treat your body like a machine. Input Input equals output. What you put in your body is how you're going to perform and the amount of focus you're going to have. If you eat like shit, you're going to perform like shit, not only in the gym and working out. Your diet impacts your focus and every single aspect of your life. If you eat shit food, you're not going to be able to focus. So instead of eating all that garbage that you don't need from McDonald's, eat good food. That's going to improve your life, mind, body, and essentially every single aspect of your life. And besides eating good, you're going to want to sleep good and actually work out and move your body. Again, like a machine, it needs to move not to get rusty, and it needs the proper fuel to actually perform. The clarity and benefits you're going to get immediately from this is going to be substantial, and you're going to feel it right away. And if you like this video, please comment, like, subscribe, and do all that stuff. I really appreciate it, and I read through every comment and actually respond to those. So see you in the next one.
