Do you fear being stuck in a career that you feel just isn't meant for you? I remember being stuck in a job which had no passion for, was being underpaid. And I also knew that I wanted to set up my own business, I wanted to create my own thing, but I just really wanted to do something I cared about, I was passionate about and actually get paid my true worth. And I was in a bad place. But now with working with people for the last decade plus have helped them through either changing careers or advancing in their careers, depending on their goal or ambition, and get paid their true worth whilst doing something they actually care about. One example is Joe, who was working in the music industry, who said I was stuck in a career that I was no longer passionate about and an industry which just wasn't for me anymore. You've helped me turn into a software engineer much sooner than I ever thought was going to be possible. I'm being paid an amount of money that I didn't think I would be able to get so early on starting in a new industry. And David, you've been paramount in helping me make this change. Thank you. I could list off loads of other testimonials of working with people from all types of organizations and companies, from the large ones to the small ones, to help them make progress. And I do this through the career advancement program that I have. Okay. Now there are various steps that are required to do this, but really it's understanding about how we deliver value and we communicate the value that we provide, but it's also the value that the decision maker actually cares about. We can all work hard, we can all say we stayed late, we can all say we did this thing really well. But is it the thing the decision maker cares about the most? You've got to be able to position yourself based on what the decision maker cares about most. It's simple, but it's not easy. And I want to make it easier for you. You can book a free one to one coaching session with myself, not with someone else, with me specifically to help you through this stuff, to help you design a strategy of a way to move forward. And if you like that strategy, and if I think I'm in a position to help you with your career, with your business, then we can talk about you being part of the career advancement program that I run. Okay. But you can book that free one to one coaching session. You can either go to the episode description and there'll be a link there or if you're on the Self Believe Chief podcast, homepage you just scroll underneath the list of episodes and in the next step section there'll be a link to book a call. Now what I want you to do is ask yourself the question. If you feel stuck in your career right now, do you feel like you can make the change you want on your own? Why have you not done so already? What are you scared of? The next question is why now? If you don't do something about it in the next month, next year, next five years, what would the consequences be for you if you didn't take action now? And when you're thinking about getting help from someone in the career space, you want to make sure someone's got a track record of helping people change and advance in their career. You want to work with people that have got the relevant credentials and you want to work with people who've got personal experience. Now I've got a list of testimonials you can easily find on the website. In terms of credentials, I have a degree in international relations with psychology. I'm trained as a life coach and I'm also certified as a career coach. In terms of experience, I've not only changed jobs twice, I've changed industries twice now this is very much my industry now, has been for a long time. But in the past I was a footballer, left that industry, went into the corporate world and then left that industry. It is hard to advance in your career or to make a change in your career. I want to make it a bit easier for you. So as I said, you can book a free one to one coaching session with myself. Just go in the episode description, there'll be a link there to book an appointment with me.
