Hey. Hey, guys. Happy Monday. Hope everybody is geared up for a great, great week. Easter was awesome. Luke got away to the in laws house for a couple of days and helped them out.
Great.
It was a good time, man. How was your weekend?
I tell you, it's different. You know, I do love going to Easter service and of course everybody's doing that virtually now, so we did it virtually. Alexa wanted us to dress up with our Easter outfits on to go take pictures in front of the church, which, you know, I'm probably, you know, I lost that argument. So anyway, yeah, I bet. But I was so glad that Lent is over, so I was able to eat bread again, which, you know, it's been one of those, I really like sandwiches and I hadn't had one, so I'm excited today, Luke.
They do a lot of good gluten free options, just so you know. I've been dealing with that for five years and I've got it all figured out. So you let me know, I'll tell you who's good, where to go, how to get that. Does that count if you're avoiding bread? Are you avoiding breads or are you avoiding wheat?
I just did bread in general. Just bread. Just no bread? No bread, no cake, no cookies, no, you know, just no bread.
Okay. No craziness. All right. Well, all right.
But anyway, I'm glad. We're supposed to be on spring break this week, so we're spring breaking.
I mean, you're perma. Spring breaking for the next foreseeable future, which is really the point. And what I want to talk about, guys, I want to make sure dealers are, they're getting themselves grounded. What a great weekend to reconnect with your faith. Whether you're Christian and you celebrated Easter, you know, whether you're Islam or whether you're Sikh or whether you're Hindu or whether you're non denominational Jewish or atheist or agnostic, whatever. You guys are out there listening. Connect with that higher power and make sure you're getting yourself grounded. I think it's so important to do that every single morning. We're going out into some really uncertain times. It's a battlefield. We're trying to keep our employees happy. We're trying to keep our customers happy. We're trying to keep our families together. I know. My wife is both a homemaker and a teacher and a maid and a cook and an activities coordinator. I mean, she's doing everything right now. And I'm just happy when I get home that there's not two or three Kids laying in a puddle of blood that she stabbed because she's snapped. So what I'm getting at is do your for me. You know, we get up in the morning, we do our scripture study every morning as a family, and we go out on a little run, you know, and those are the things that I can do right now to help me stay grounded. Getting some spirituality in my life and getting some physical activity.
That's awesome, man. I'm a runner. And so I get up, you know, 6:15 or right now. I used to get up at like, 5, but since I've really got nowhere to be early, I get up around 6:15, I head out four to six miles. And it's so. It's so refreshing. Not only am I staying in shape, I'm also getting my mind straight. I do have a morning devotional. I do every day, and it's, you know, it keeps me grounded. It keeps me going in the right direction. And I think that is so important right now to stay happy, to stay healthy and do right by others. Right?
Yeah, yeah, it's a great time. Go on a run, listen to some uplifting podcasts, maybe some independent dealer stuff. You know, it's a great time to get educated and keep your mind right. Stay out of the media, the big news stuff, Getting on Drudge Report and seeing all the nonsense that's going on out in the world. Minimize that and maximize your spiritual and physical health. That's my Monday minute. That's our rant for today, Luke. We're coming out of this. We see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's there. Keep pushing forward.
It's not going to ever be the same, but it's going to be better, right?
All right. Okay, Luke, have a great week.
You, too.
See you Thursday.
