Mike Melton | Automotive Business Mentor is live in Mexico !

In this informal, unscripted livestream recorded in Hermosillo, Mexico, serial entrepreneur and business mentor Mike Melton shares a wide‑ranging monologue interspersed with audience chat. He contrasts entrepreneurship with intrapreneurship, recounts his personal journey from a homeless teenager starting a tire‑repair business to selling five multi‑million‑dollar companies (including a $17 M exit at age 36), and outlines the habits that keep him improving daily—early‑morning workouts, constant reading, and relentless self‑development. Melton emphasizes the importance of building an A‑player team, delegating to free his own time, and treating employees as partners rather than subordinates. He discusses personal branding on Instagram, the need for authenticity, and offers a phone number for direct coaching. Tax‑deferral strategies for large exits and reinvestment in real‑estate are explained in lay terms. He stresses mentorship, citing Michael Jordan’s coach Tim Grover, and urges viewers to seek mentors regardless of ego. Work‑life balance is a recurring theme; he describes sacrificing family time for business early on, then shifting to prioritize his children and spouse. Throughout, he shares motivational anecdotes about overcoming poverty, weight loss, and personal failures, while encouraging the audience to ask questions, engage in the chat, and adopt a solution‑focused mindset rather than arguing to be right. The stream ends with a call to action for viewers to improve their businesses, personal brands, and lives.

That shit was taking forever, brother. Copy the MCP link. Name it Magical. If you want to use Quad to get rich as fuck, then you need to save this video. You can now connect Quad to your Instagram account so you can— Oh man, it's amazing being in Mexico. You got your company running without you. A lot of y'all, a lot of y'all have companies or, or you work in a company. So a lot of times it's, it's not all it's cracked up to be to be an entrepreneur. You get your balls kicked in every day. Um, and a lot of times you can make more money as an intrapreneur than you can as an entrepreneur. So if you want to know what an intrapreneur is, put it in the comments, put it in the little chat, and I'll tell you what an intrapreneur is if you're not sure what that— Yeah, it looks fun, brother. You gotta have a fun life. Like, I spent most of my life like seriously working, working, working 20 hours a day. Um, and I still work a lot, but I don't work as much because I want to give my family the, the life that they deserve. And a lot of times, you know, us as business owners, you know, we say we're doing it for our family, but we're really not. We're, we're giving our families the leftovers after we get home. Like, you know, and I know a lot of people when they come home, you know, their, their, their wives are telling the kids like, Hey, leave Daddy alone. You know he's had a rough day. He's had a long day. He's resting. BS. Take your butt home. Spend time with your kids, whether it be 20 minutes, 30 minutes, and then take your ass to bed. That is more important than anything. Yeah, I got a couple different lives here going, so— and I never go live. Should I go live more? Let me know in here, should I go live more? You know, a lot of people ain't up at 5:41 in the morning. A lot of people either getting ready to go to work, on the way to work. Hell, hadn't even woke up yet. I woke up at 4 AM and worked out this morning in Mexico, and a lot of people are like, man, you're on vacation, why are you working out? Well, that's part That's part of my deal, man. That's, you know, that's part of getting better every day. I have to get better every day. That's non-negotiable for me. And, you know, a lot of guys get better, you know, once a week. That's— you're only getting better 52 times a year. A lot of guys get better once a month. You're getting better 12 times a year. I am literally beating my competition because I get better every day, 365 days a year. I don't skip a beat, whether it be reading books, whether it be learning something, whether it be hanging out with the family, whether it be working on myself. I have to get better. Could you put on a Scottish accent for a wee minute? I like their— I don't know how to do different accents but this country-ass accent I got, brother. You know, I try to stay true to who I am, and— but I love that accent. I love y'all's accent. It's pretty dope. Um, there's a, there's a couple people that's, that's actually here with me that has an accent like that. Um, you know, because you got, um, you got New Zealand, uh, you got Australia, which is kind of, kind of the same, same sounding accent. But where's everybody from? Put it in the chat where everybody's from. So we're gonna take this and we're gonna get out of that one. Horrible service out here on the beach. Albuquerque, Glasgow— where's Glasgow at? I know where Albuquerque is. Are you from Hawaii? No, I'm from North Carolina. You can tell by the accent, old country-ass accent. North Carolina. Some people don't understand me sometimes when I talk. Sometimes I talk a little too fast, so I know I gotta slow the hell down. But does anybody here own their own— oh, Scotland, hell yeah, I appreciate you, brother. Does anybody here own their own company? No. Or are you an entrepreneur working in somebody's company to help grow it? Because a lot of, a lot of, you know, I speak to a lot of people, right? You know, I'm, you know, because I've been where a lot of people are. You know, I've been poor, I've been homeless, I've been rich. Um, I've been through a lot of crazy stuff in my life, and I've been through more things in my life than most people have been. And, you know, there's, there's— I I shouldn't be here right now. I've been through a lot of crazy, crazy things in my life. Not yet, but preparing. So what— so not yet preparing, what, what type of business are you looking to get into? Because this is one thing I love talking about, is business. Like, so a lot of people are drug addicts. The only drug that I'm addicted to is business, um, because business is a game to me. I've built 5 different companies and I built them from scratch, from the bottom, nothing, an idea in my head, and brought them to fruition. And all 5 of those companies, I took and sold those companies, um, just like the one I have now. Um, I had a non-compete for a while because I sold my last company for $17 million when I was 36. I opened that company when I was 19 years old with me and one homeless guy. And what we did, we changed used tires. I worked till 3 to 4 in the morning, um, going around to all the, the new tire shops and getting old used tires. You know, I'd get my little flashlight out, I'd have a truck, make sure there's no holes in the sidewalls, you know, as, as much as I could see, right? Um, and then when I got into the shop I would, you know, of course inspect the tires before we open up. And, you know, I didn't have a lot of sleep, but I knew what my end result was and I knew what my end goal was. So at that point, I opened 3 brick-and-mortar stores and I had 6 mobile trucks going. 6 of them. So that's when I sold that company years later, from 19 to 36. For $17 million because we was doing so much business. And a lot of people was like, man, I would just retire and do nothing. But when you're like a high achiever like me, it's like, you know, business is a game to me. You know, a lot of people play video games. My video game is business. And one thing that I really like more than business is helping other people out. Because if I had somebody like me when I was younger, game changer. I'd be a billionaire by now for sure, and I'm working on that right now. Like I said, I've exited out of 5 other companies. I'm not gonna tell you my net worth because it's pretty large. I own a lot of properties that's worth 8 figures. I've made a lot of smart decisions. I'm not the smartest person, I guarantee it. Everybody in here is smarter than me when it comes to like book smarts and stuff like that. But when it comes to common sense, that's really all you need, man. Just common sense and really think about what you're doing. Of course you're gonna make mistakes as you go like I did. Everybody makes mistakes. And for somebody who says they never made mistakes, run away from that person. Just like leave that person instantly because they are so full of it. Um, and unfortunately, the mistakes that I've, that I've done cost me lots of money, but lots of time. You know, you can always replenish money. Money's easy to make. You know, I could sit here and make a post and make $100 grand in, in what, 30 seconds? Say an hour. Okay, say the algorithm pushes, takes an hour to push out. I can make $100,000 in an hour. How many people can do that? But part of that is building your personal brand. You have to build a personal brand. And if anybody wants to learn how to build a personal brand, I'm going to be doing that also. So if you want to build a personal brand, here, I'm going to— let me see, I, I never go on live, so let me see how to do this. I am not sure how to Right in this thing. That's a damn nope, nope. There we go. All right, I'm not sure how to comment or whatever. If anybody knows how to comment in here, I was going to put pin my comment, but. If anybody wants to learn how to build a personal brand, just give me a text. 704-617-7848. Personal brands are huge. Like, but you gotta be authentic, man. You can't be fake. You can't be a salesperson. You know, people have BS meters all the time and people know if you're real or not. And I'm one of the realest persons on here. I tell it like it is. And, and, you know, people either like me or hate me. At the end of the day, it doesn't matter to me because I know who I am and I surround myself with certain people. Paying tax is a daily mistake. Paying tax is a daily mistake, brother. Who wants to pay taxes? I'm gonna tell you what. But the thing is, if you have a large investment like I did You can get, there's loopholes around taxes, but you have to learn these things. So say you sell your company, right? Say you sell your company for $17 million. Cool. What you want to do is reinvest that money into property, right? So if you're married, you can get tax deferred up to half a million dollars if you're married. If you're not married, you don't have to pay taxes up to $250,000. But when you sell property and stuff like that, say you sell your property. And you get $17 million, $5 million, whatever it is, you take that money and you reinvest it into more property that's gonna make you more money, then that's tax deferred. You don't have to pay tax on that until you finalize later on in life when you sell these properties. But there's always different tax strategies that are legal. Wasn't me, I just fund it all. Hey, if you can fund it all, fund it. But at the end of the day, you're gonna pay tax on something. Um, you got to know how to, to, uh, go around those loopholes, legal loopholes. I'm not saying like, you know, defraud the tax man, because they're not dumb at all. By no means, they are not dumb, brother. And anybody who thinks they're dumb, you got another thing coming. Man, I love Mexico. Mexico's pretty dope. Has anybody been to Mexico? No. Now we're in Hermosillo, which is a smaller part of Mexico. And as you see, there is like nobody here. And like during the week, this thing is so private. So, you know, every, every, every very, very successful person has a mentor. And a lot of people don't think, oh man, I don't need a mentor. I don't need a coach. I don't need this. Well, let me ask you something. Michael Jordan was one of the best basketball players. The best. He had a coach. His name was Tim Grover. Right? And of course Phil, the main coach, but Tim Grover was his mentor, was his coach also. And a lot of people are scared to get a mentor in life because their ego was so high. Man, I could do it myself. I can do this. But the thing is, what you guys don't realize is you're running out of time. Your time is running out right now. The day you came out of your mama's whatever is the day your damn clock started ticking. And, and death don't care what age you have. Death doesn't care. Like I told one of my guys back home, his name is Chase, right? And, and if anybody watches my social media, they know who Chase is. Ace is Chase. Is, um, and he was a bigger guy. And what I did for him, because I like to help people out, I said, I'm gonna make a bet for you. I'm gonna give you $500 if you can lose this amount of weight. And it wasn't for me, it was for him. And he did accomplish it. And right there, that meant more to me than anything. You know, $500 is nothing, but $500 to him is a lot of money. And then not only that, getting his respect for himself is worth way more than $500. Way more. So that's what a lot of business owners don't understand. They think that you hire somebody and they're your slave. BS. They're not your slave. You work for them. They don't work for you. And that's what a lot of, a lot of business owners don't understand. And that's why they can't keep good employees. They can't keep good team members because them themselves are Bags of shit. Okay, I'm gonna say it, bags of shit. And a lot of people, they— their A players leave because the boss lets the C and D players run the show when the A players are sick and tired of it. So if anybody here, anybody here is a business owner, learn from this. Get rid of the C and D players immediately. Um, I mean immediately, because your A and B players, they're not gonna play ball with them. They're eventually gonna get tired of them and they're gonna leave and they're gonna go somewhere else. That's a fact. I built enough businesses and I know exactly how this works. I— for Instagram, anybody own a business, anybody who got any questions, put them right here, and as long as I see them, I'll try to answer them. And if I don't answer, put the question back in there. Gotta go keep doing livestream. What's up, chat? Yeah, man. What's going on, man? Yeah, man. So you know you gotta have that mindset. Like you have to take care of your team. Your team is number one. I don't care what it says. You know, and, and I, I did a thing with, with, with business owners. I said, what's, what's more important, customers or your team? 98% said customers. You are full of it, dude. Number one, without your team, they're not going to take care of your customers. And in turn, without customers, your team can't take care of them. Okay, so if you have Like say you have a crappy team and then you have customers. Well, that crappy team is going to destroy your customer base. Understand this. This is very simple. You have to build an A+ team and that takes you as a leader to do this. And a lot of guys ain't leaders. You're not leaders. You had no leadership training. You, you, you, you just, you, you fly by whatever it is. And a lot of, a lot of times you guys are reactive, man. You know, some people do make mistakes and, and us as leaders, we have to take responsibility. Just like if any of my guys, any of my guys have an issue or if they messed up something, doesn't matter. That's on me. And that's like, like say, say your CPA does your taxes, right? Say your CPA does your taxes. At the end of the day, who's responsible? It's not your CPA. The IRS don't care. You signed off on it. It's your responsibility to make sure it's right. It's the same with business, and a lot of you guys just don't get it, brother. Let me hook this thing up because this thing is going dead, brother. There we go. All right, let's try to get this thing to stand up. Yep, just like Scott Jones, gay. Like, this guy, this person must hate their life so much they have to go on another man's, another man's page and call somebody gay, which is crazy. Like, like, you know, if a girl likes another girl, if a guy likes another guy, so be it. That's them. Who cares? Yeah, I agree. That's their life. You run your life. Just because you're unhappy with yourself, that's your problem, brother. Not mine, not theirs, not anybody else's. And a lot of times when, when people go in there and hate, they don't really hate you. They're just jealous of what you have accomplished, right? And they don't see, like, I've accomplished a lot. You know, I'm a self-made millionaire and it ain't because Stuff was given to me. I worked my ass off. I've worked since I was 8 years old. Since I was 8 years old, I worked. So when I got out of school, I worked at my daddy's used tire shop. I would get out 2:30, 3 o'clock, whatever time it was, and we would work till 6, 6:30, 7, whenever customers would stop coming in. I was the tire changer, okay? I used a bubble balancer. I didn't use all the fancy equipment that I have now. But of course, I have the fancy equipment now because why? Because I want my team members to have a better experience. I want my customers to have a better experience. That's why. And a lot of people say, well, I can't afford these machines. BS, man. You can't afford it because you got the wrong freaking mindset. You don't know how to pull in the customers. You don't know how to retain A players. And this is what I help with. Like, it's, it's, it's mind-blowing to me. Mind-blowing. And, and, and a lot of times, you know, people will hear me cuss or get aggravated. I'm not aggravated at, at, at, at, at my team or at people. I'm aggravated that you guys don't sit here and get the, get the thumb out of your mouth and act like a little baby and, and, and, and, and do what needs to be done. Put your back against the wall. Like, you— a lot, a lot of people never put their back against the wall. That's the issue with people. My back's been against the wall all the time. I go for broke. Anything I do, I go for broke. I wake up broke. It don't matter if I got $10 million in the bank, I am broke when I wake up. Why? Because it makes me go that much harder. I've had the Lamborghinis, I've had the R8s, I've had the lifted trucks, I've, I've got million-dollar house. It doesn't matter. None of that matters at the end of the day. When you're on that deathbed, it doesn't matter. You know what matters? Your family. The people who work for you ain't gonna be there. There might be one or two, one or two. Everybody else, they're gonna go get another job. Who's gonna be there? Your family. You have to make sure you take care of your family. That's it. That's all you got to do. And a lot of y'all are sitting here working, working, working 60, 70, 80 hours a day. and giving your family the leftovers. What's left over? Nothing. You're too damn tired at the end of the day. And this is what pisses me off. Exactly. So without me ranting some more, ask me some questions. Do you think having kids slows you down? Hell no. If, if, if, if having kids slow you down, That means you don't have enough drive. Those kids are relying on you. You have to get more drive and, and, and do better because you want those kids to have a better life than you, right? I didn't have a good life. I had a horrible life growing up. Horrible. But I made it to a point where I make sure my kids won't have that life. At all. Like, I woke up with parents screaming, fighting with each other. There's no way in hell that my kids will do that. They're going to hear that. There's no way. Now, I'm not saying that husbands and wives don't fight, but you need to fight for the solution. A lot of guys, a lot of marriages, y'all fight to be right. Who gives a damn about being right? Fight for the solution. This is the This is exactly what I tell my team to do. Fight for the solution. Don't fight for the damn problem you're having. 'Cause at the end of the day, who cares who's right or wrong? Who cares? 'Cause in 15 minutes, you're gonna be— Hold on. 'Cause in 15 minutes, you're gonna be damn talking to each other again. So stop fighting to be right. Fight for the damn solution. Look at that damn sunrise, brother. There's nothing better than that. And I don't know what time it is back in Lincoln, but I'm gonna answer the phone because I built— I built leaders. I cloned myself. I took what's up here and gave it to them. And a lot of y'all are scared to drop the reins, right? Y'all are still Santa Claus. You're holding the damn reins, holding the damn reins. It's, it's crazy to me. Hey, Mike, what's up? You have to learn to let go. You have to learn how to build these A players up. And if you can't find them, build them. Not everybody's built to be a leader. Not not everybody is. But if you're a really really good leader, you can make other leaders. It's it's it's that easy. Hi, anybody on Instagram? You got anything you want to say? Because if nobody, if nobody's interacting on Instagram, I'm going to jump off of it. I'm not going to waste your time and you're not going to waste mine. What's this? Talking business. We're talking sunrise. We're talking family. We're talking about how to build leaders. That way you can actually, you know, if you have a company, you can get out of your company from day-to-day operations. Like me, I don't have to be in my company every day. I built the leadership to where my company runs without me. And of course, I love going to my company. I love interacting with customers. I love being with my team. But at the end of the day, you need to be able to— you need to be able to spend time with your family, and you need to— Damn, what the hell is that? Damn whale out there in the water. All right, so you need to be able to spend time with your family. That's the biggest thing, because you never know. I don't care how old you are. You could be 13, you can be 63, it doesn't matter to me. Death doesn't care how old you are. You need to live today like there ain't no tomorrow. Your light switch can be turned off at any time. It doesn't matter. It does not matter. I had a friend that was 33 years old, black guy, super fit guy, didn't take any drugs, no alcohol, no nothing. One day he died. It's crazy to me how life is so short and, and, and a lot of, a lot of you guys take life for granted. It amazes me. Oh man. But you know, a lot of you guys are, you know, a lot of y'all don't know that I was super overweight before. I lost 118 pounds over 4 years. I did it naturally, naturally over 4 years. Why? Because I saw a picture of myself one day, and I was one of the ones who never liked to take pictures, like ever, ever take pictures. So one day somebody randomly took a picture of me and I saw myself, even though I looked at myself in the mirror, I saw myself in that picture and I was like, there's no way in hell that's me. There's no way. And that's the day I changed. What I did, I killed that son of a SOB that day. I never looked back. I used to eat Hooters every day. I used to eat Wendy's every day. McDonald's, man, I'm gonna tell you what, I love Frosty and fries. I don't know who puts their damn fries in their Frosty, and if you put your fries in your Frosty, put a damn 1 in the chat right now because that's some of the best. But I haven't had it in like over 4 years. I used to drink 2 gallons of sweet tea every day. Do you understand how much sugar that is? That is a ton. And, you know, being physically fit is just part of my deal right now. Like, I want to be able to inspire other people. That's my job. That is my passion right now. I know how to change tires. I know how to build businesses. But what I want to do is help other people build their business, build their self-worth, and, and, and at the end of the day, be a better father and be a better person. Like, that's what drives me every day. It doesn't matter. I can close my company tomorrow and still live. It doesn't matter to me. Literally, I could close my company tomorrow. Wouldn't matter because I've made a good Enough choices over the years to live the life that I've always wanted since I was a little kid. And you guys can too. I'm no different from you. I literally have a 6th grade education. Everybody in here is way smarter than me. Way smarter. But I'm gonna make a All right, so I'm not sure if you see it. Let me see if you can see it. See if I can zoom in. You see that boat right there? On that boat today, so make sure you watch out for that boat. That boat is destroyed. Somebody wasn't paying attention what they was doing, brother. All right, who all's going to work? Who, who hates Having to go to work every day. Who hates it? Instagram, who hates it? Who in here, in both of these chats, who hates their job? Who hates going to work every day? Me, I'm a farmer. You hate going to work, brother? You're a farmer? So you must have just lost your passion for it, or, or you just don't have enough time for your family, or you're just not making enough money. It's, it's one of those 3 for sure. Damn, I'm getting hungry too, brother. Too many breakdowns. I totally understand, brother, and, and I know that farm equipment can be pretty expensive to, um, to do. Um, have you ever thought about just like leasing new equipment or, or just getting into a different profession? Um, I mean, you probably got probably hundreds of acres of land. I mean, I would think, being a farmer. I mean, I got 26 acres in the middle of Charlotte. Um, that's pretty unheard of. I got 26 acres in the middle of Charlotte, North Carolina. There is no more farmland in the middle of Charlotte, North Carolina but mine. Now, outside of Charlotte, yes, but where I'm located Gold mine, brother. That's why I've already got offered 8 figures for it. So somebody with a 6th grade education, I've made some very, very good choices in my life. And it's not because I'm smart. It's just because I have common sense. Common sense will get you way farther than any book smarts will. Unless you're, you know, unless you're having to go to college to be a lawyer and stuff like this. But, you know, me and a lawyer talked before when I had to sue my home builder, right? Because my home builder didn't do their job, and we gave them multiple chances to try to fix the issues. So me and the lawyer started talking, right? He spent so many years, 6 years, 12 years, whatever it was that he spent being a lawyer. And he said one thing that they never taught was how to acquire customers. Like, you're spending all this money, but they're not teaching you how to actually acquire the business. that you're going to school for, which is crazy. So anybody that works with me, I'm going to show you exactly how to bring in customers, not just from your area, from outside of your area. Like, we get customers from hours away. I've had customers drive 15 hours. You can say it's bullshit or not, I don't care, but I've had customers drive 15 hours to come get a set of tires from me. And it ain't because My tires are special. Like, everybody has the same tires, but it's how I do business and how I treat people. And this is what a lot of business owners don't understand, is, is how to treat people, how to treat your team. Hey Mike, how's it going, man? Just wanted to say hi. Love your business, respect your commitment to quality. One of the only few I see online that does it, brother. Damn. This doggone phone. Let me hook this up. Yeah, man, that's so— that's exactly what I was talking about. You know, like, in the service industry, nobody cares anymore. They're, they're all about themselves. Like, which blows my mind, because at the end of the day, without that customer, why are you there? Like, you may have a hell of a team, but if that hell of a team ain't taking care of customers, that's a problem. And if, and if you yourself are not instilling the values and, and, and, and standards in your company for your team to take care of customers and give that customer that best experience, that's a problem. That's a major problem in your company. And you're losing hundreds, if not millions of dollars. And, and a lot of guys, hell, they won't spend $50 to, to, to learn something that'll make them $50,000, which Is mind-blowing to me. Mind-blowing to me. So that's why I went on this live. I want people to ask me business questions. Ask me business questions. I want to help you for free. I'm not charging you. I'm, I'm— Heading to school, just thinking about you. Just wanted to text you. Ah, it's my son. Say he's heading to school thinking about me. And that right there means a lot. How'd you go about starting your business? Um, what were your humble beginnings? All right, so a lot of stuff happened in my childhood. So I left a $7.15 an hour company. We was doing vehicle inspections, right? So we put little stickers on the window when, when stickers were going on windshields, right? And, and I was like, man, you know, this ain't for me. So what I did at 19, I started my own company. And, and I started it in the neighborhood that I grew up in. And I knew everybody there. I knew all the drug dealers. I knew all the crack whores. I knew all the homeless people. And so what I did I needed to open fast because I had no money coming in. I literally was homeless. Literally. Um, so I hired a homeless guy just to help me out, just, just to have a hand. Um, and I always did QC checks. I never let anything go out with, with just him touching it. Like, so I started with me and a homeless guy and I built it up over the years and I worked 20, literally 20 hours a day. And a lot of people won't make that sacrifice. You will not do it. I made the sacrifice. And over the years, as I built my company and then I had kids, I sacrificed my home life and my kids so they could have a better life, right? Like we have now. Um, And that was a blessing and a curse at the same time. And when I say curse, that means I, I wasn't there a lot of times, and I wasn't there when I should have been. But now that I've built a team and I've And I've learned a lot of leadership over the years and I've learned how to delegate responsibilities. And you know, when you hire people, you can't just hire bodies, right? You have to hire somebody that's going to buy back your time. You have to, you have to delegate stuff that takes it off your plate to somebody else's plate in order to grow your company. And this is what a lot of business owners just don't get. They're like, well, I might as well do it myself because it gets done right. Man, that's the worst, worst advice that you could tell yourself. That is the craziest thing. Without a team, you're nothing. I don't, I don't care what you say. You're a one-man show that's going nowhere. You're on a damn treadmill that ain't going nowhere. That's— this is a fact. This is coming from somebody who's built 5 multi-million dollar companies And sold them. But at the end of the day, at the beginning, you do have to work your ass off. But what you need to do, and I don't care if it's me or anybody else, get you a damn mentor that's exactly where you want to go in life, and you cut that damn check for speed. I don't care what they charge, if it's $50 or it's $100,000 or it's a million dollars. You cut that damn check because one thing you'll never get is your time back. You're not getting that time back. I don't care how much money you got, you cannot buy back your time. The only way you can is if you distribute your money through your company, through your team, and delegate those tasks to them. Then it buys back your time. That's the only way. Does anybody get what I'm saying? What's going on, man? What do you think about those? Those what? What do you mean? I'm not sure. All right, so the reason I started this live, I really want to help people in their business, in their personal life, in their marriage. Like, listen, I've been married for 23 years. Well, actually married 13 years, been together 23 years. I know a little something about women, how they work, what ticks them off, what makes them happy. How to fix situations, how to solve issues. And, and a lot of guys, man, you know, the, the divorce rate is, is huge. It used to be 50%. Now it's, now it's higher. It's probably like 72, 73%. And, and a lot of, a lot of times people get divorced because they fight about the stupidest stuff. I mean, the dumbest things. And it blows my mind. I sit and, and, and You know, some people do it in my team too, and I'm like, guys, you know, listen, what are we really fighting for? Are we fighting to be right, or are we fighting for the solution to the, to the problem? Like, at the end of the day, whether you're right or wrong, the problem's still there. Let's fix the, the problem. Let's, let's focus on the solution. So I want— if anybody has a business, or say you're an entrepreneur where you working in the company, take some of what I'm saying And and implement it into your business, into your your your your your your team. Stop fighting to be right. It doesn't matter if you're right or wrong. Damn, it doesn't matter if you're right or wrong. Fight for the freaking solution. Come along way. You deserve all you says, man. I'd love to come over and work with you. Best wishes, brother. We get a lot of love from Canada, man. I'm gonna tell you what, Canadians love me for whatever reason. I don't know if it's because I'm real or, you know, I just tell people like it is. And, you know, I don't be— you know, a lot of people, they BS people. Listen, listen, I'm gonna tell you, here, here's a BS meter right here. Every one of y'all has a BS meter. Everybody. And you know if somebody is full of it or not. Everybody. And that's one thing that I'm not, you know. And some people say, man, you're— you got a big ego. I don't have a big ego, man. I just know what changes people's lives. I know what I've been through. And, and, and I'm very confident in, in what I am and what I can do for people. And my team and my company and, and how I can build other things. I'm building 2 other companies right now that really doesn't need me in day-to-day operations. Um, and I'm going to be releasing that probably in the next 6 months. There's 2 more companies that I'm working on. Like I said, I'm, I'm addicted to business. But what I'm trying to do now— not what I'm trying to do, I'm going to do— is, is have companies work Without me having to be in it. Like, how many of y'all want a company to where you don't have to be in your company every day? How many of y'all? And I know it's every one of y'all. And if some— and some of— if some of y'all don't own your own company, I'm gonna tell you what, I don't care if you're a damn burger flipper, a tire changer, a damn CEO, or, or a manager. Take your job seriously. And I don't care who it is, if they're talking crap about you in the job, who gives a shit? At the end of the day, you know what you're doing. You need to be the best at what you can be. If you're a damn burger flipper, be the damn best burger flipper, because at the end of the day, somebody in that company will notice you. They will notice you. And if they don't notice you, what I want you to do— it doesn't matter what company it is, it doesn't matter— learn anything and everything about that company. I mean inside out, not just how to do the work. This is where people mess up. They know how to do the work, but they don't understand the day-to-day operations, how to run the business. And this is what a lot of, a lot of business owners struggle with, a lot of them, because they don't, they stop reading, they stop self-developing, they stop getting better every day. Listen, you guys have to stop doing the actual work. I understand if you're building a new company. Yes, you have to be in the grind. Yes, you have to be in there changing tires. Yes, you have to be in there flipping burgers. But you don't have to do that all your life. You know, if, you know, year 1 or 2, yes, yes. Maybe even year 3, but by the time you get to year 3, you should have a hell of a team. If you're a good leader, you should have a hell of a team that's, that's able to run that place for you. Yeah. You have to delegate your strengths and take it from here and give it to them. Not just tell them how to do it. You need to show them how to do it and why it's done that way. This is, this is just simple knowledge on, on running a company, man. But there's so much into building a really big brand, a really big company. Um, you know, and like I say, when it comes to mentors, everybody has a mentor. You know, even even me have a mentor. You know, some of your biggest people have mentors, man. You know, like Elon Musk. He has a mentor. You think he don't? Yeah, he does. Look it up. Michael Jordan, LeBron James, any any big celebrity. They have mentors, brother. Everybody. You know why? Because they still need to keep that edge. And there's some things like. We may be the best at, but there's some things that we may not be seeing that other people may see and they can help us out, get to that next level where we're kind of struggling at, right? And, and that's where a lot of y'all guys are, are struggling in business because you're just, you're just doing the bare, bare minimum. And, and a lot of times when, when people see me get aggressive, I'm getting aggressive because I'm pissed off for you. I'm not pissed off at you. I'm pissed off for you because you deserve more. And, and when I come to my team, if, if I ever get loud with my team, they understand I'm pissed off for you. I'm not pissed off at you because I know you deserve more. And a lot of guys, if you're not making— like, I don't cap my, my team. My team can make $40 an hour, $100 an hour. I don't care as long as you're putting in the work. And as long as you're grinding, you're gonna make a lot of money with me. A lot of money. I have a damn 18-year-old kid. He just bought a brand new Denali truck, which was $75,000. He's 18 years old. 18. The dude is making $78,000 a year plus bonuses. How many of y'all, how many of y'all, and I want, if, if, listen, listen. I'm not a 19-year-old kid. How many of y'all are making $78,000 a year? How many? Put it into the chat. And if you're not, I want to help you do that. Whether, whether it be, you know, getting better in what you're doing now or changing your damn career. Because you're only stuck because of you. You're not stuck because of nobody else. A lot of people say, well, I grew up, you, you know, I grew up this way. I grew up that way. And I grew up way worse than most people that are, that are, that are following me. Trust that. I grew up in dope houses. I grew up around crack whores. I grew up with my daddy smoking crack. I grew up around people getting murdered in front of me. There's not too many people that live that life. I grew up in a house with 6 kids. And I still struggle with that to this day. That's why I go so hard, because I'll never, ever go back to my old life. And a lot of people are keyboard warriors. They don't understand my old life. You don't. I wasn't always the best person. At all, and I've learned to be a better person. And and that started around when I sold my first company because I knew I needed to change. I screwed up. I screwed up a lot of relationships because I was just an asshole. Basically. And, and a lot of people won't admit that they're wrong. I don't— I'm not afraid to admit if I'm wrong or not. I'm not always right. I don't always make the right decisions. And, and I know a lot of y'all don't. But if somebody makes a bad decision or they mess up and you own a company or you work with somebody, dude, just give these guys grace. But I'm gonna tell you what, this, this is one thing you really need to listen at. Is if somebody makes a mistake, you need to help them with that mistake because they can't keep making the same old mistakes. Now, if you teach them how to get rid of that or fix that issue and they keep continuously doing that same issue, you have to let them go because they're never going to learn. And that's just the fact of the matter it is. But it's getting a little sunny out here.
