Giving Without Remembering | Others Over Self®

Hey, friends. Shelly here sending you the first personal message for the month of July. We're digging even deeper into our theme of adventure and we're focusing the next three months on the value of selfless service. Why are we doing adventures? Why are we taking these really brave actions? Are they because of self fulfilling ideas? Or is there a way that we can put the needs of others over our own own in how we are finding enjoyment and fulfillment in our own lives? I came across a quote this morning and I felt it so deep in my heart, I absolutely had to share with everybody. You ready? On the screen in front of you, you should be able to see it. Give without remembering and receive without forgetting. Give without remembering and receive without forgetting. Are you brave enough to do this? Are you brave enough to give without remembering? That means following up just to tell them Happy birthday. Not did you get my present? Did you post a picture with my present? All of those things. Are you brave enough to just send the gift and know that you're doing it with an open heart? Can you give without remembering how much you're giving? And what about receiving? Are you brave enough to receive and never forget the things that you're receiving from other people? Always living with a heart and an attitude of gratitude as we're receiving generously from the world. That gives us so much. From him who gives us so much. Hope you enjoyed this message.
