A short YouTube clip by dermatologist Shereene Idriss promoting Panoxyl (benzoyl peroxide) for acne and oily skin. She recommends applying the product in the shower, leaving it on for about one to two minutes to let it act, then rinsing to avoid bleaching towels; the video ends with a follow/comment call-to-action.
T shirts, pillowcases, bleached. These are the Panoxyl girls.
It's so exciting that this boring ass product is a trendy product. I'm a board certified dermatologist and I have been promoting Panoxyl for years for people with acne or oily skin because it helps to minimize the bacteria on your face and control your acne. And I am not sponsored by this company, but one tip I've always told my Panoxyl girlies and patients across the board is to leave it in the shower. Why? Because once you're there, you put it on your face, put it on your chest, put it on your back, put it on any area that's currently affected by acne or oiliness and just let it sit for a few minutes, a minute or two before you wash it off, allowing it to do its action. Then once you wash it off, you know you've gotten most of it off of your body and therefore when you jump out, your towels will not be bleached. Or just invest in white towels.
