Board certified Derm. We have a patient here who waxed while on Accutane and it's unfortunate. If you are an Accutane, do not wax because you're going to cause a burn and potentially a scar. So let's help her out. This is how she should minimize it. Cortisone10 she can get from any CVS Duane Reade to calm inflammation. Bfene is great. It has trolamine and glycerol which are going to hold on to moisture, act like an analgesic and help stimulate your own natural healing process. So it will minimize any sort of scar. And last, zinc is a great adjunct for any sort of irritation.
