Chemical Sunscreen With Rosacea? #shorts

It finally stopped. So I'm gonna go to sleep very soon. But you can use a chemical sunscreen if you have rosacea. The bigger issue with people with rosacea is that they tend to be sensitive. And in the US at least, chemical sunscreens can be irritating. So if the chemical sunscreen that you're using is irritating for you and you have rosacea, it can actually flare up your rosacea. But that doesn't mean that all chemical sunscreens are going to be irritating or are they going to flare up your rosacea. If you already know that you're sensitive, that you're scared of flaring it up, just opt for then a zinc oxide sunscreen because zinc oxide tends to be an anti inflammatory. We use it on babies butts all the times for diaper rashes, but it's not elegant. It really isn't. And it's not great under makeup. So if you find yourself a beautifully formulated chemical sunscreen that doesn't irritate you, knock yourself out and enjoy.
