I was the girl that never broke out in high school. I literally used a bar of Dove soap.
Because guess what Hormonal acne is a bitch and that can pop off on your face in your early twenties up to your late twenties out of nowhere even if you had clear skin in high school. So before going in office to treat it here are a few tips to help yourself with over the counter products starting with number one and this may shock you. Avoid all retinols. Why? Because because your skin is inflamed, you're hormonal, you're producing oils etc etc. If you add a retinol while your skin is highly active you may enter the purge phase and look worse in the process and hate your life and want to give up. Number two use an exfoliating acid a couple of times a week. Not any exfoliating acid, a BHA with salicylic acid because it's oil loving it's going to help go in deep to unclog those pores and keep your skin clean.
