Hi guys, how are you? I'm obsessed with this woman too. You know, it's so funny, we had this impromptu meeting today. Hey everybody on TikTok, I love you so much. We had this impromptu conversation today and just sharing the mutual love for each other's brands. And I think the most epic thing today was it's nice when you really adore someone and you kind of click, but then the things that you make play well together. Like, it's scary.

So I didn't know that Danessa's brand had a different name when she started. Yes, that she reluctantly had to change her brand name to her name. Yes, which is exactly— for those of you who don't know me on Danessa's channel, my story. I also—

Dr. Idriss. I also didn't know that Danessa's favorite word was freedom, and that was my favorite word, and that we're both laughing at the fact that we're not free.

We're definitely not free.

And then there are so many other little things. I know, wash your face in the morning.

Yes, I do not wash my face in the morning. She doesn't wash or cleanse her face in the morning either. We're nighttime cleansers.

Only at night. Yes, only at night.

Absolutely.

You know what I love about today? I mean, those of you who know me know that I'm just obsessed with collaboration, especially with other women. Other female founders, just good people in general. And today just feels so natural that I, I want to do this a lot more. I've learned so much. I've learned so much. You know how obsessed I am about skin. I've learned so much. And what I love so much is that it's okay. There are so many people with different points of view, but it doesn't matter. But at the end of the day, what we want is the same. Yeah. What we've learned is our— for both of us, we love solving problems for everyday people.

It's like, that's why we do what we do, simplifying it so you can feel more confident in your skin, in yourself, in your makeup, with or without it, and also feeling more confident. Like, for those of you— then as people, I did not know how to put on makeup. My people know. And so to have somebody who knows how just to kind of like simplified in a way that makes sense is beautiful. So she taught me a few things today for the oily folks out there. So if you're very, very oily and you're someone who makes a lot of oil and you have a lot of inflammation, I love azelaic acid to help to calm that inflammation down. And that's what we have in our green serum at Dr. Idriss.

So for me, do you guys know that I suffer from hyperpigmentation? I have lots of like masking around my mouth, underneath my eyes, like straight here through the T-zone, like my knuckles, like lots of hyperpigmentation. And it's actually a super concern of mine. And, you know, from a makeup point of view, we're always talking about how to cancel out that hyperpigmentation, creating a balanced appearance. But having something that's actually doing it to your skin is something else.

So people who follow me and I'm talking to my channel, the Danessa's people, I also have a lot of dark spots, discoloration, and I'm prone to melasma, which I have now under control. So she didn't even know that I had it, but I could do lasers. And but if you do lasers, the nerds know that there's no point in getting a laser treatment if you're not on a skincare routine every day that's targeting it.

Yeah.

And for me, the most important thing is that you're confident in how your skin appears on its own. And the makeup makes you feel even more confident. Not that you're trying to hide yourself. Yes. So that is huge. And so I created this purple line. So anything purple is for dark spots to brighten your skin.

So beautiful, so elegant on the skin. It really sets on the skin beautifully. I was able to layer it with all of the other products in my routine. You guys know I use every single day water powder serum. I'm using throwing bomb powder on it every day, I'm using this spray. Like, this literally layered so beautifully, and my skin felt just yummy.

Yeah, it felt so yummy. So I really wanted her to tell you about these because if you're like me, you're gonna fall in love. And I want— if you already use the brand, you're gonna know that they play well with each other.

So quickly, just give a little— yeah, this is the Hyper Serum, and this guy is the powerhouse. It's a radiant, glowy serum that gives you this inner radiance underneath your makeup. Like, if you're prone to dark spots from acne, it gets it under control. Yeah. Especially in more melanated skin, especially if you're not somebody who wears sunscreen, let's say, and you have some shadowing and patches on the high points of your face that are constantly exposed to the sun. Perfect. And then this is a vitamin C 2-in-1 gel cream moisturizer. Now, vitamin C has been a little tricky for me because I am sensitive, but this is the quiet form of vitamin C, so you can actually use it both in the morning and at night to get that 24-hour benefit without burning your face off, which is very important. But it's— the best part is that it hydrates like it's a beautiful gel cream. Moisturizer. So love this guy.

Yeah, it feels really beautiful, but it falls even more beautifully under.

And this is like if you want to look dewy, radiant, just like this case, just like this. This is amazing.

So the Moisture Repair Balm— so many of you have told me who have eczema, who have super dry skin, who have like irritated skin, like cracking skin, mature skin, that you're obsessed with the Moisture Repair Balm. It's so beautiful. It's a balm. That transforms into a serum on your skin.
