If you're sick of having dry, chapped, cracked lips this winter and no lip balm is doing it for you, I have a hack that's going to change your life. Ignore the swelling under my eyes. I did PRF yesterday and I look like the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Two words. Lip basting. Step one is using an exfoliating acid. And one that I've always used from the get go has been a glycolic acid exfoliating acid. This one is by L'. Oreal. It's a 10 glycolic acid exfoliating skin serum. But like with any hack, there are drawbacks. And it's not perfect. We'll get into it. One second. Let me apply. This step allows you to smooth the surface of your skin and your lips without causing any sort of irregularities like a normal scrub would. But the drawbacks are, if you have cold sores, beware. This is way too strong. Number two, you got to follow it up with sunscreen the next morning. And number three, because it is strong and it is a hack, you cannot do this every night. But the second step is where you want to seal that juice in and just baste your lips like a turkey would be. Based it on Thanksgiving morning.
