Too much of a good thing is too much of a good thing. I'm a board certified dermatologist. And yes, this sadly even applies to caviar. Too much is too much. What do I mean by this? So glycerin is my baby. Love her? Why do I love her? She's a humectant that just delivers constantly without any irritation when formulated correctly. And this is why formulation is key. At a hundred percent, glycerin is just way too strong. She's going to go into your skin, absorb the water from your skin and the environment, dehydrating your skin in the process. Plus she might actually irritate the surface of your skin. So not only are you going to be dehydrated, you're going to be also irritated. Not to mention that 100% she's tacky AF and not cosmetically elegant.
