Stop buying skincare products if you want clear skin. I'm a board certified dermatologist and beyond your cleanser, sunscreen and moisturizer, the only serums you need are going to be the ones that are going to solve your skin's biggest problems. For example, if you have hyperpigmentation and you're using salicylic acid, you're not helping yourself. And if you have active acne and you're using the active form of vitamin C L ascorbic acid, you're definitely not helping yourself. So and if you have fine lines or wrinkles and your skin is thinning out but you're just using a hydrating serum with you guessed it, hyaluronic acid, you are not helping yourself. You need to learn how to create a customized, hyper specific and focused skincare routine based on your skin's needs, not your friends. And that is why I have been preaching for years consistency over intensity every single day. If you guys want to learn more, feel free to follow along.
